Per: SLB

I never got into the whole $150 Diesel Jean Trend in the early 2000's. That Trend when SK8er's sported that Criss Angel Cut !!!

90% of my posse bought into it

Whenever I think about pants I slays think of the Dill interview (maybe the Bobshirt one) where he gets all hyped on one of his old photos because he remembers he was wearing Northface pants in the photo.

exactly what i thought

i dig the new trend of wearing carhartt work pants, tbh don't even know if it's a new thing but i noticed a lot of guys in videos wearing carhartt double front pants lately
Carhartt double front pants are the dumbest skate pants ever. They do have a nice look to them but as a carpenter the only time you would ever wear them is for framing and  concrete formwork. They are so stiff they stand up on their own. I often skate in carhartt pants on workdays but they are the lighter ones but have a similar look. Im 36 and gave up and skate in sweatpants mostly now. Belts make me have to pee cuz i drink too much coffee.

Do they use a softer fabric? Either way I don't like the double front. Too much material. I work mostly inside and the light carhartts last me a couple of years and are manageable for an after work or mid day skate in the colder months.

the small wheels era (early 90s) was all about those giant jeans cut off at the bottom and left unhemmed so you’d get loose threads at the bottom.

This seems like the right place to ask.

Why are people cutting the bottoms off their jeans again? Is this to reduce restriction? To encourage ankle trauma? I do not understand.

All of my jeans are second hand, and sometimes they come too long in the legs, so I just cut the bottoms off. I noticed it enhances ventilation which is quite nice. It is also a quick procedure.

My shit also got ripped up just walking around.

My pants were insanely large. I remember I could fit a textbook in my front pocket. I must have looked like a complete dipshit, but I had fun doing it.

I could be wrong here, but I feel like Carhartt probably has something at least close to this color around that price range.

yeah, they had some atrocious shit like the obama trackpants but their skate jeans had some nice washes like these  light blue-violet ones below that i've been struggling to find in any other jeans (and i'm not willing to pay more than $25 for pants to skate in so there's that)

Tim o connor always had impeccable pant style. Also his shirt to pants ratio was on point.

Unfortunately tiago blows it by not wearing a long enough shirt to go along with his baggy pants. Does not look good when your pants are big and your shirt is short and wide.
