I was with him at the Mimpi skate film and photo festival last November in Rio de Janeiro where he had an exhibition and he gave a talk in which he mentioned how much he missed the VX, especially after seeing what people like Colin Read or the Magenta guys were doing with it, using it in new ways, you could tell he was sincerely inspired to try and give it another go, which kind of came out of nowhere for me (I'm used to 'retired' filmers being clearly over that phase of theirs) and I thought was sick. now actually making the time to go back to the VX I'm not sure he would do as he seems pretty content with his photography but who knows. he seems to go through artistic phases and as a filmer he's still physically fit enough to skate and film fisheye (unlike some other older dudes). his talk gave me a glimpse of hope. maybe one day?
