A lot of videos sound weird now cuz dudes are using off board sound recorders, so all the years you have learned how skating sounds from where it is filmed has been thrown off cuz now the dudes filming long lens but the mic is under the handrail, or whatever random place they placed it, I notice it a lot with Russell Houghton videos

Ahhh, that does make sense. Also, the name I bolded is about 3 steps away from being Ty Evans-esque.

This guy is made for the olympics. Unfortunately for him few people outside an arena will be bothered by his nondescript video parts, which he clearly works hard on. He even tried a hairdo about halfway in. Ultimately I know too much about the olympic village to feel sorry for this guy however.

Menikmati was made by french fred. filmed in VX. Had Arto Koston, Penny and stuff. They could have put a whole spice girls album as the sound track and that video still would have murdered. You didnt have to sit through a Sean Pablo part to get to Koston. Menikmati also focused on how international their team was and how we all came together through skating even though they are from different worlds. The music was themed and fitting for the whole video. Super weird and obscure, for sure, but made total sense. For example, Using metal for arto and him talking about living in california and skating all the california spots. Rodrigo with his jungle beats. Kostons song with the weird mandolins and stuff over some hip hopish vibe. Literally created atmosphere and cultural vibes. Fred didnt use weird ass Amon Tobin songs for no reason. hes a genius and that video is still ahead of everything editing and production wise.

He did the fucking backlip bigflip out like 10 times to get it perfect, how can you not appreciate that? it is fucking beyond me. if you know anything about skating you should show some fucking respect for these tricks.
fs hurricane flip out, backlip bigspin flip, bigflip hurricane, the kickflip front nose, the front nose, kf back noseblunt, nollie heel crook i could go on these tricks deserve respect for what they are and how he did them so fuck you. style, speed, filming, music, editing whatever it is that annoys your ignorant brain, it is not valid critisim for these tricks.
