So is there a grippy alternative to MOB?

I'm gonna boycott all of the companies who back Jason Jessee and MOB running an ad with a white power band seems completely inexcusable. Haven't seen the ad personally but it sure sounds strange as fuck to me.

Meanwhile I ordered a sheet of black Grizzly (I hate Grizzly, but I hate nazis more!) and a sheet of black Diamond grip. Hoping they'll be alright.

Meanwhile I ordered a sheet of black Grizzly (I hate Grizzly, but I hate nazis more!) and a sheet of black Diamond grip. Hoping they'll be alright. 

I tried out Madrid Fly Paper which I ordered from SoCal and ended up really liking it! It's really pliable and doesn't crease easily. The adhesive is working well in really hot weather too, something that MOB and Jessup both had issues with for me. Grip-wise it feels similar to MOB M-80 but it isn't tearing up my shoes too badly nor is it wearing down quickly.

Brink told me that Jason Jessee will be only using MOB LIL MAYO grip from now on, as part of his image rehabilitation.

I really want to know what Jim T thinks about this.  Everything is so incestual between Indy/ermico/DLX/high speed.  Where are the lines drawn? Should we boycott slap and deny high speed the ad dollars?

I respect the hell out of that response. Pretty much said he was blinded by being a fan of his skating. Jim T is a national treasure and he must be protected at all costs.

what the fuck did he actually say? there are over 60 pages of people saying that JJ's response was not deliberate enuff and that he tiptoed around the issue.  how is this any different?  it sounds like he only said something because people are posting on the internet that he needs to.

Any form of racism doesn't belong in our community of skating and I have long worked to support that belief. It troubles me to realize now that I had somehow let my skate fanboyism thinking override my beliefs and cloud my vision of what someone connected to us had been into.

There's the part that separates Jim's response from Jessee's IMO. Yeah they both pretty much said everybody should love everybody, but Jim actually comes out and says "fuck racism," where Jason said "I said things that hurt people's feelings ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" Jim also takes the time to think about how to move on with this knowledge in mind, instead of sweeping it under the rug for the industry to forget about

Oh shit Jim spoke on this? I was kind of waiting for that especially with the hanging klansmen reissue a few years back. Are those the same views though? Where is the divide with nazis and the klan. Not trying to push the issue cause I’m sick of it but it does seem the nazi party has been the party of choice over the klan in recent years of this new fun era of intense and vocal racism.
