We had this shop that sold a bunch of sports gear and did the varsity jackets for the local high school, but in the back he sold skate shoes and hardgoods. Some old guy who was kinda weird and always cranky, and obviously only sold the skate stuff to supplement his income. But when he was going out of business I went in to see what was left, and he had just about every iconic skate shoe imaginable still in stock in a ton of sizes from the early 2000s era. Had I known they would be worth all this money I would have just bought all the models and sizes as an investment.
