Help finding old John Cardiel photo

Hey Slap Pals, I was wondering if anyone could help me find a photo of John Cardiel (Edit: or maybe it was Ryan Wilburn?) from an old Thrasher? I've tried googling and searching the internet for it, but no luck. The photo is from a demo in a parking lot where Cardiel is ollieing off the top of a trailer (possibly a UHaul?) into a quarter pipe. I believe it was run in this 2001 anniversary issue, but I'm not 100% on that.



It's been more than 15 years since I've seen the photo, but I figured I'd give tracking it down a shot due to its personal importance. Thanks for any info!

Wow, you know what - I think you may be right. I remember there were guys from each of the DLX teams (Stereo, Anti Hero, and Real) there and possibly at some point over the years I mistakenly started thinking it was John Cardiel because he was also there with Ryan Wilburn. Do you have the photo you're thinking of around?

It was definitely a goofy footed skater and it was at a demo in a church parking lot of my hometown in Michigan. Appreciate the help though Michael!

Ah darn, yeah I wasn't sure. Good to know because I almost bought that issue on eBay for more than $20 just to try and find that photo haha. Glad I decided to ask on here first. Thanks for the info man!
