Damn that was so good. But fuck these edits are horrible, if you're gonna do a full lenght that you've filmed for five years, have some respect for the riders and get some decent music. If you really can't afford any legit tunes there's still tons of small bands with at least memorable songs you could get free in exchange for the exposure.

The boardslide on the spiked railing thing was danger (why was that even designed like that).

Real nice flat switch tre.

He would be perfect in the Atlantic Drift squad.

Hell yeah Ryan! This was really good! Especially liked the sw hurricane and that line with the long bs fitty. I think the music was fine it suited the desert and gave some serenity to this part, cool.

Also am I the only one who generally doesn't like footage from the southwest? Everything looks so dry and all that concrete, guess I can't relate to that..

This guy is easily becoming my favorite current day skater. His style is almost flawless but not in a robotic way. How many parts has he dropped recently? 3?

you know companies in general are losing touch with skateboarding when they have such a technically amazing roster of super talented dudes putting their lives on the line for years doing incredible shit for a living, and those guys do work and actually produce footage of amazing tricks, but it's eventually presented to the world in a way that's so fantasized and disconnected from the average skater's reality that noone remembers what the fuck actually went down in the part. it's like all those suits don't know how to juggle with actual skateboarding right now, so in the meantime they just disguise it so ads can play at the mall.

this is a general statement, not a particular diss to Etnies, Mike Manzoori (who obviously would never lose touch with skateboarding) and certainly not a diss to Ryan, who's one of my favorite skaters. that's actually my whole point; I've seen the full Album video once when it came out and premiered, and I can't even remember one standout trick from one of my favorite skaters. maybe I'm just the one who sucks and the presentation isn't what is to blame, but the fact still makes me a bit sad.

oh it definitely is too. I actually almost edited my post to include that remark but changed my mind because it's all over the place already anyway. still that doesn't negate the problem. I don't watch Instagram clips either, or at the very least I'm selective about them, I know what I like, and mental pollution terrifies me, for I swear it could eat me alive.

Ryan is rad. people like him should have a greater place in skateboarding. good to see he's doing good.

I dont think the music and editing was as bad you guys are making it out to be. Music was a little boring that’s about it.

I would have tasked each rider to find a song they liked that didn’t need a liscense, rather than create music from scratch.

This dude is absurdly good, but the way he holds his hands and his repeated windmill arm movements mid trick is not a good look. Makes it seem like his balance isn't as good as it actually is.
