Grimple 8.75 Egg
149 Thunder Team Hollows
52 Conical Fulls not stoked on
Old Swiss
7/8 Allen Thunder hardware

Carpet 8.125
148 Thunder Team Hollow plates, ti hangers
52 F4 Classics
Bones Swiss Big Balls
7/8 Allen Thunder hardware

Really need to figure out what brands make this exact Carpet shape cuz it and the 8.25 are awesome. I’ve got another 8.25 on deck but getting their decks is a pain.

The Grimple is surprisingly nimble although I’m not used to how to scoop the tail yet. Want to change out the wheels. Going to put the Quantum bearings on one of these probably the Carpet.

what are those green bushings you’re rockin’ on that grimple stix?

Photos removed to stop clogging up the page, but they're aftermarket Indy conical bushings in a Creature colorway. Got them for free from a friend. They're the same height as Thunder bushings.

It’s not really a “real” setup, but not quite a cruiser either. I just put together this goof-around board. The wheels and bearings have been sitting in a drawer for the past 6.5 years waiting for the right opportunity. The trucks were meant for something else

Prime shaped mini 7.8x27.5 11.5” wheelbase
ACE 22’s
56mm Orbs from their first run in 2014
Reds
Dooks risers

Looks fun as hell

Every now and again they have “ramp” stickers. You’d have to ask for them when placing a shop order through DLX. I still have 1.5 left after this

Like I’ve said...I can always find my board easily with those neon chartreuse trucks!
I was not sure I was going to like this deck but after the first session, I am a fan.

Spring downsize setup. I'm sold on twin tails but found the Ishod 8.5 a hair too big and Indies a bit tall even with forged plates, so here goes...

Krooked Bobby Worrest Twin Tail Slick 8.3
Thunder Hollow Lights 148
Spitfire F4 Classics 52mm
Bones Big Balls
Diamond 7/8
Mob

Last time I used Thunders and a slick board was probably 30 years ago!

Nice setup! I tried all the TT sizes and unfortunately I found the 8.38 last, because it definitely is the best IMO. I have my current one with Indys, but I just set one up with Thunder hollow 148s as well to skate next.

Anti Hero Pfanner 8.06
ACE 33’s

Some Adidas cupsole from a few seasons ago

My classics had to have been in the low 40’s because these 52’s felt massive when I first started skating them today

Had to retire my loveseat with the grip that had my pup painted on it. But I had another at the ready. Not really loving the short ass wheelbase but until the my next two decks come in I don’t mind skating a fresh one.

Girl loveseat 9.00 Simon bannerot
thunder 161 tiLights with the front truck top bushing cut down and no washers. Back truck has no top washers.
Spitfire f4 54mm 99a conical fulls
Bones big balls
Pyramid country grip, gotta support the homies
Thunder 7/8th Allen hardware.

Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

Started a little company and decided to kick it off with a Christmas complete-

Fortress Vace 8.5 32.3 14.5
Ace 44 flat top washer two speed rings on inside
Loophole Teardrop 54s
Reds
Jessup Black/Mob clear
Allens

Just lurked a lot of the fortress art Insta. I love the art. Can’t wait to see when stuff goes live cause the sample stuff posted looks so good. Also think you’ll make a 8.38 to 8.5 with a smaller wheelbase?

Twins.

What are those trucks? Indy hollows 144 and thunder hollows 149?  What do you prefer? I rode Thunder 149, Indie 149 and Film 5.25 with twin tails. Setup an old 8.25 twin tail with my old 147 thunders some tim ago and loved it and finally set up a "new" one, after being able to refill my stock last week. (1 AWS twin tail - shout out to whoever posted it in the twin tail thread -  and 1 krooked TT. Btw it seems that the aws does have the same wheelbase like the other twintails but a slightly fuller tail. I layed them on top of each other and the screw holes aligned perfectly. They are advertised with a 14.25 not a 14.4 wheelbase, but I did not measure any of those actually. Will do so and upload some fotos in the TT thread, when I get time.) My current preferences on those twin tails: thunder 147 > thunder 149 > Film 5.25 > Independent 149. I find that interesting because I usually prefer a shorter wheelbase and rode Indies most of my life. Thinking about buying some 148 thunders, but i am trying to stay reasonable. After all i could ride them with all trucks just fine, each had their advantages.

Correct on the Indys, and I love them. The Thunders are 148, but I haven't tried them yet. So they are both 8.25 hollows. I look forward to trying them, and seeing the difference.
