Louie does it again and looks beautiful as always
-
Hobo dance fight made my day
-
Louie must ruin other skaters for his sponsors. Can't follow up a guy that's gonna thrown down a wallride gap like that in a cat ear beanie.
-
That was wild. Front blunt to back nose blunt mid part?!?! Yeeeeeeeeesh
-
Louie is too fucking good.
-
the clip at 1:02 where its nothing but his feet, >:( that shit got me heated
-
I liked the coloring of it.
-
He really doesn't miss.
-
Gotta love Louie Lopez. Also does anyone know why people wear beanies in hot LA weather?
-
Jesus Christ
-
Couldn't decide if I'd seen this before or not, confirming LL's skating is timeless.
Blunt to back noseblunt was bonkers.
-
Damn, that was great. Noseslide off the awning was my favorite clip
-
sick skating and sick edit <3
-
Pop-shove the trick of 2021? Good thing I already got those.
-
Loved every minute of this, Louie is so so good!
Think it was a Baca comment on IG "I went on a trip with this fool and he only fell once!"
-
the clip at 1:02 where its nothing but his feet, >:( that shit got me heated
I also didn’t like the filming of that.
Awning noseslide was sick, as was the rest of it.

That’s what I figured but wasnt sure. :)

keeps getting better and better.
-
The music selection complimented the part really well. He just looks so fluid and relaxed on a board.
-
I'ma be honest, he's the only dude that looks good in his pro shoe.
-
God damn how does he put out so much amazing footage?! Favorite FA edit I can think of. Nice to see a blunt to back nosebluntslide again, hasn't been many of those in the history of skating.
-
the clip at 1:02 where its nothing but his feet, >:( that shit got me heated
shot was way too wide, couldn't even see the frayed fibers on his shoes
-
Amazing part, I like his pop shuv its. Very nit picky but Jake Johnson already did the ollie at 3:32 for
Mind Field.
11 minutes in.
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cLCtCu63eO8
Not trying to take away from Louie’s part at all, it was incredible. Just funny how it was slo mo’d in a part in 2021 when it didn’t even make it into Jake’s part from 12 years ago.
-
The two switch FS 180s just obviated Vincent Alvarez' whole career
-
This was the best part to drop in 2021
-
I liked the coloring of it.
same ! there is also some kind of glowing/grain effect that looks beautiful

back smith backside flip out was absurd
it'd go from like, perfect filming for 4 tricks to so close i could read the worlds on the aglets fo his shoe laces. i don't get how anyone thinks that looks better
-
doesn't get much better than lou footage. his wallride flip game is a whole new level.
-
Harsh shadows and contrast on that footage. Your high-tech HD camera should be able to expose your subject correctly even if you are filming towards the sun. Better figure that out quick before you film another entire Louie part.
-
Sick ass part. As someone who backs people wearing weird things, I don’t think Slap would have given anyone else a pass on that beanie lol

Was just going to say shoutout to Louie for making that beanie look cute af. Amazing part great music
-
Shit, easily his most enjoyable part. I’ve always liked his skating but don’t return to his parts all that often, but this one is different. Hot damn.

Yeah I came to ask if he had old parts that anyone would consider better than this? Shit was incredible
-
Wow! I don't think you could possibly edit 3 songs together like that so well. It just felt like one song and flowed so well together with the skating, which was flawless.
-
Wow that was incredible. Louie never disappoints but he outdid himself once again.

Name just about any three other skaters and they wouldn't have that much finesse between them.

Yuto, Miles Silvas, Ishod. I can keep going. Not saying LL isn't smooth as butter, but c'mon.

-
Every time I see a new Louie part my reaction is always "oh right, he's my favorite skateboarder."
-
What the fuck. How do you ollie out of a wallie, over a gap?
-
Gotta love Louie Lopez. Also does anyone know why people wear beanies in hot LA weather?
Southern California has a few hot months during summer, but it is much more mild overall compared to how hot and humid it can get in other parts of the country. Also, warmth is relative so 40-50 there can seem cold when you’re used to 75 everyday.
-
More flawless skating from Louie. The blunt to noseblunt couldn't have been done better.
I like how his seize the seconds part transitions into this part with the ending clip being from the line at the start.
-
Second line was so fucking sick. Love this guy's footy.
-
Very good. He's up there with Westgate and O'Grady with SOTY level parts so far this year. Keep him away from Fat Bill.
-
The little fakie wallride with the late turn back to switch was so sick, never seen that.
Dude is the best and even though there are lots of other slick dudes with lots of talent, Louie is the best. I think he's better in a side by side comparison with any of the names mentioned earlier.
-
That tall nose slide he did felt so out of character but i still loved it because louie did it.
-
Dude makes it look easy
-
Audibly said "Shiiiit" on like half the tricks. Louie's nonstop. He reminds me of Ishod in the way that he's constantly putting shit out and every trick is perfect.
-
Impeccable
-
the clip at 1:02 where its nothing but his feet, >:( that shit got me heated
I feel like when I see footage shot like it is the equivalent of getting the wrong change back from the waitstaff at a restaurant.

Didn't see the usual GP so I wasn't sure. It looked like it but appreciate you confirming. Best edits out.
Oh the skateboarding in it was really good too. The line with the two wallies in it was shot so tight that it felt like a troll - especially since it was in the section with lines in it that were shot just fine.

Sunburn is also a constant concern if you don't have a lot of hair.
-
god damn louie that was fantastic. instant classic. the filming was great too when it wasnt just feet
-
magical
-
if your head is shaved a beanie is basically just emergency hair it's not a big deal

I still have Ishod for GOAT, but the way Louie skates reminds me of a late 90's Herbal Essence commercial. Smooth and Sexy!
-
It wasn’t even the craziest trick but the unexpected late bs 180 out of that dumpster bs smith made my jaw drop, like dude can just do what he wants when he wants. Calling this POTY so far and no disrespect to Jack but he ain’t got it like this.
-
Louie just made pop-shuvits great again. this part was too fucking sick. hell yes dude.
-
SOTY or we riot!
-
Well well well, Louie Lopez. You wanna make sure there's some tricks left in this universe for anyone else? HUH?

When I see clips like that or like how Strobeck filmed KB’s f/s 360 at the Banks, I don’t understand how the skater doesn’t watch it and just get pissed about it.
I’ve liked Louie’s FA parts more than other stuff he has put out but I really don’t get the hyperbole in here. His FA parts are at best 1/3 memorable. Nothing is bad, but very little stands out to me.
Someone said that every time that Louie puts out a part, they remember that he’s their favorite skater. That doesn’t sound like he’s actually that memorable if you forget about him between parts.

Silas IS goofy foot.
Howard in Questionable is probably the one he's thinking of if he's older.

and it's not the same anyways, since i just went and checked, it's a front blunt to front noseblunt, all spinning in one direction

I think this was definitely intentional. Benny really likes to play with the contrast, color grading, and overall look of his footage. Hell he filmed dancing on thin ice off of an old tube tv, I don’t think the harsh contrast on some of this footage is the craziest thing he’s done.
-

Franky V can draw on his dickies and his NB#, ride coloured wheels and wear a Pikachu beanie while skating to Blink-182 and still get a pass imo.
Speaking of which, I'd love to see Louie on NB#, or any team other than Cons or Nike, as long as they look after him. He's a treasure.

They was ok. Was hoping for some no complies And street plants.
-
the bump-over to dumpster 5-0 really stuck out to me every watch for some reason

I'm far from an FA stan. But, Louie is Ishod level at this point and should have been SOTY in 2018.

he’s the best out.

it's nice to see that with the flood of PROs from all sorts of big and small brands, there is still a distinct group of skaters that make up the top shelf, louie being one of them

It had that almost-falling-but-gracefully character that I really enjoy, when people can get away with. Beautiful part!

I think I need to rewatch this. He might be at the point (this is how I used to feel about ishod) where he’s just so effortless and makes things look so easy that I don’t really notice them
-
The line where he does front blunt to fakie/ride on top was beautiful. He has such quick feet. All of the back to back wallie lines, too

Hell no. Shane is good but his style is so robotic and just doesn't flow like ishod or oski. Also he dresses like a 16 year old just starting to try dressing well. I would say Yuto is way more enjoyable than Shane.

I rewatched and I think it’s a combo of him being so effortless like ishod, and him upping the amount of wallie tricks in this part that has me kind of not hyped on it. Which has me super disappointed in myself because I’ve loved all his other parts
