last time I went into the local shop, the dude at the counter was saying that they have more longboard customers than skateboard customers. At first I thought that was regular, but as long as the shop stays open then I'm not complaining.
And another thing - when I'm driving around and I see kids with these things - they are ALWAYS carrying them! I have yet to see anyone actually push or ride on one of these things...
that is so fucking true. I definitely see more people walking with their longboards than riding them. When I was going to class earlier, I saw some kid walk out of the business building, tenderly set his longboard down, push once, and then immediately fell off. He picked that shit up and powerwalked away so fast, hahaha. Sometimes you'll see them walking with their longboard to class, and then see them walking back with it. I guess now they're just like purses for men.
Also: why do 99% of longboarders push mongo? Why does anyone push mongo? Why does people pushing mongo bother me so much?
