The paneling on the toe of the slip on looks really off, like after you get through the rubber is there just that mesh at the tip? The detailing on the side looks makes the shoe look too busy as well. Maybe if they had a cleaner toe and dropped the vans swoosh, the strap could work, practically it makes a lot of sense.

Those look really good to me.
Bummed about the Hong Kong protest.
Just got some ave pro’s. Really comfortable. Like exceptionally so, felt like they were very worth the price. I’m not too sure about the durability. Can’t remember a more stable shoe.

I think if it wasn't that shiny leather that panel wouldn't stick out nearly as much and highlight the chunkiness. For an intentionally chunky shoe I don't mind the paneling, but the leather's gotta go the more I look at it

I had a pair of these and they were amazing actually. Skated them every day for months.
