Where was this spot with all the crazy concrete planters at the beginning of this? Any other photos or videos at this spot?

Sadlands in Anaheim, CA. Pretty famous spot.

Andy Anderson, I cannot sanction your buffoonery.

Thanks! That was all the Sadlands footage I could possibly want. Dude with the unicycle ruled. Place looks crazy hard to skate but so fun.

Fuck I loved this part.  We ripped off every trick he did that we could do.  Is this the first filmed nosestall on a ramp, as we all obsessed over them after seeing this.

Speed freaks is for certain one of my all time favorite videos. It had diverse cast of skaters and Mike V and Eric Dressen parts are timeless classics. Thanks for posting this

I always loved that part. Blender was the best.

I recently read an interview with Grant Brittain where he said Steve Claar was one of the most underrated skaters of that era. He apparently got hurt surfing and his leg got gangrene and had to be amputated.

Now that Jason Jessee is cut Steve Claar could be our best frontside ollie guy.  He had a sequence in Transworlds "Beyond" of my favorite one ever done.
