Yeah, this season seems to have a different vibe to it, may just take a few episodes to adjust to it, but it definitely threw me off. Plus I don't know how they're gonna make up for the lost Pam/Jim tension. There were some parts that I found really funny, but they seemed to be more subtle, and I can't really think of any specifics.

What I thought would have been interesting for this season was if they began to air episodes of the documentary within the show, and show how the characters react to being on TV, like in that special of the U.K. version.

Yea, I didn't really like it that much. It had a weird contrived tone to it, like they had found some false formula to an office episode. It was funny, but forced.

soon enough it will be replaced by Paul Rodriguez Sr's new sitcom about an average day upper class latino family living in simi valley dealing with a clever mouthed 11 year old son, and the angry 17 year old daughter, and the house wife that has to hold the fam together. the show will be featuring a new mobile laugh track system that warns you before a joke is about to be told via text message if you sign up for it through NBC. Of course the classic laugh track will come standard

I was a bit disappointed too, but my expectations are really high each week. Maybe they just have problems filling an hour.

The mystical creature with the "body of a walrus and the head of a sea lion" was pretty hilarious.
