Hey fellow wooden toy worshipers,
I’m from Central IL. Where the scene had come to die (as I’m sure it has in most rural locations.)
Luckily a good friend of mine is planting some seeds to grow a very grass roots movement and in my opinion he is killing it. Hand pressed hand shaped and screened decks. It’s a labor of love and creates a beautiful kinetic art piece. If you could please give him a follow

A washed up worshiper

I lived in spring valley, lasalle/peru area. What part of central illinois? Back in the stone age of 93. There were 2 of us skating in the whole area.
