At my workplace some marketing people called a project "viral" when they sent an ad to every clients email and asked them to participate in a fun survey or something like that, clearly stating what it was about. I facepalmed.

Same people told me, who has an engineering degree in AV technology, that anybody can make commercial videos, you don't need any expertise for that.
