Looks worse than the last one, was all chunky.  Also, did anyone have a hard time doing flatground 360's?

And can somebody explain no comply's to me?  i dont really understand this:

no complys are done by pushing the ollieing right when you're foot hits the ground.

shocked that people like this. my friend nailed the feeling of the new game, skate one felt like doing the tricks. skate 2 feels like tony hawk with flickit controls, i know thats kind of what skate 1 is but if you played the original alot and you play number 2 you will know what i mean.

ill still buy it and still have fun with it, og skate doesnt have a replacement though.

I like it

It seems a bit easier to do tricks (I did a back tail 360 flip out easy, never could do that in skate 1) but I also found tricks look better in this one and so do the animations.

Plus all the additions with no complys, boneless's and other fun shit, this game is going to be amazing. Moving around obstacles works really well too and it's not tedious to set stuff up at all.

I did a no-comply tailslide and it got me so hyped

also a boneless from the QP to tail tap the handrail, awesome

I dunno how albatross found so many flaws, the only thing thats bothering me is how damn short you have in freeskate before the demo ends.

ok so does the demo die in 20 minutes then you have to restart or is the demo completley and permanently done after 20 minutes?

the first demo was way better. this one you complete a couple challenges and then have like 7-10 mins to skate, in the first one it actually let you roam around a little and skate for a full 30 mins, the graphics seem kindof choppy as well.

Contrary to what the devs said this game absolutely does not run at a consistent 60fps. Some of the slow downs are so intense it feels like under 10fps.

Reserving judgement until I play it. I almost stayed up all night waiting for it to be posted but I convinced myself going to work was necessary.

hah!  yea i wrote that when i was at work, so yea that didnt make sense.

uhhh... anyone know if it's possible to get higher no complies?

so far i played the demo a bunch of times and i like it more and more each time.  stoked on the replay editor though.  it's a little slower, but it looks so pretty.

it is at first, but it's actually set up better

choosing the clip start and end first then editing the cameras after is what I did in the first one anyways

Yeah you have to figure it'll make a world of difference to get out of this grimy back alley garbage and into downtown.

I haven't experienced any of the slowdowns that some people are talking about. It seems a little more cartoonish, nothing worth bitching about, however I do wish you could change the brightness.

Moving stuff around gives so many possibilities; it'll be sick in the game when you can save set-ups.

Also in the party-play levels, (if you haven't already) instead of owning the spot or breaking yourself, roam around for a few seconds and see what they have to offer. Some of that stuff looks super fun.

And how have there been over 50 posts without a single mention of benihana backflips?

Shit is good.

Though after about 45 minutes I get frustrated with the whole restart/setup/redo challenge process and leave the room in a hissyfit.
I rarely venture into classic slap and the one time I do it I find a guy getting his dick eaten by a dolphin.

was waiting for your post on this

and agree with you, I haven't had a single slowdown. The graphics aren't anything special, but as long as the game-play is there I don't even care, fuck I'd still play thrasher skate and destroy for ps1 if this game wasn't around.

I played the party mode and was actually able to drop into the bowl below the snake pit and hit that crazy looking skatepark for the remainder of the 5 seconds. I found the best way to do it is slow down before the ramps then ride the grass hill down to the drop and early grab into the bowl. Also at that spot, if you take a couple pushes then ollie down directly to your left theres some good shit to hit. The levels look awesome.
