Anyone know if there’s plans for like an all white 1010? Maybe similar color way to the jake Darwen 440 hi? Just putting that out there. Would be my only shoe for a while if it happened

I know you probably mean like white/white, but there were some white/gums a while back, white/greens out now, and the new 808 with some yellow/blue hits like the very first 1010 release. All look great irl.

They did just release new blackout ones, so maybe opposites are in the works? (I’ll buy those too)

1/2 size up on the 808s?
Or TTS?
[close]

Half size up. I usually wear a 10 and 10.5 are perfect in 808 whereas the size 10 work but are slightly cramped

needed to get half size up too.

I got TTS in the 808s, they’re snug but feel better over time imo

probably somewhere in here but since the 425s are currently in a colorway that doesnt look like a shoe from Kohls, coming from a strict 440 guy, how are the 425s vs 440s? is the sole any better?

There's no advantage. They feel cheaper in every single respect.

Can anyone comment on 212 and 272 width and sizing. TTS? I'd like a wider toe box shoe.

212 is definitely wide, but I feel like my toes are constantly sliding and rubbing the toe of the shoe

i tend to wear shoes with minimal toe room though

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

Agreed. I usually wear 10 or 10.5 (which is usually the safe bet) depending on the shoe. Went with 10.5 in the 808. Everything feels great except that I have a pressure point somewhere on the transition from the arch to the ball of my right foot, which is either the point where the 3 suede outside layers and the tongue strap all meet or the notch in the walling from the sole. It got better after a few sessions and I did not feel that when test wearing. Maybe should have tried it in 11 as well, but thought it was good then. As I said I don't feel it anymore on the pair which I am currently skating, but on my fresh spare pair it is noticeable.

Bought a couple pair of 808's and they fit TTS (I'm US 9 on most brands). Also bought a pair of 440 highs that fit half size down (US 8.5 for me) and was just lacing up them as I'm going to skate them next but I'm a bit disappointed since the right foot shoe have ripped seam and bad finishing inside them, not a major thing but as I'm kinda OCD with those little flaws I'm bummed about that :-\

For those of you who put different insoles in your 440’s, is it best to go a half size up or stick to tts?

Same size. I use Superfeet Run Comfort and the difference in the front of the shoe is like a MM and the heel/arch is low profile.

That is helpful, thanks. I just threw a Popcush in there for fun and it made the shoe feel way tighter overall and my heel felt like it was sitting so high in the shoe. Definitely need to get some of these Superfeet run comforts.

I put the insole from the 306 in the 440 high and it’s cozy

I really want to try those Superfeets that @LebowskisRug is always recommending but I will also say that I run my 440 Highs with Popcush and they feel great after some initial break in. The Popcush does raise your foot in the shoe a lot more than the shitty stock insole but they stretched out for me after a session or two and fit way better now.

I usually cut them off when I skate 440s. Comes right off with a seam ripper

First time doing it on some 1010s just now. The white leather/dark green accent ones:

Took the tongue tag off while I was at it. I like how you can still see the N lightly through the stitch holes but its a lot more subtle.

Glad you guys are stoked, but I think without the branding, especially the white ones, look like some Walmart dad shoe knockoffs.

All smartass remarks aside, I love the 1010 (wearing a pair currently), and whatever gets you stoked to wear them I fully back, but that look isn’t it for me. Honestly all of the white leather ones, branding or not, have been a tough sell to me. It probably just hits too close to home being close to 40 (38) and a father of four.

I personally thought that removing the Ns made them look less dad-ish. They look like normal sneakers to me at that point

Just wanted to share that 440 highs with the 808 insole, as an extra, feel really good if you had 0.5 bigger than your usual.
