Can't recommend enough the suggestion someone made earlier of putting 1010 insoles in the 480s if you're having problems with not enough height inside the shoe or arch issues or they feel a little too thick. The insoles don't look very different but replacing the Abzorb insole with the 1010 insole totally changed the entire feel of the shoe for me for the better.

So, I love the 480s as they are, but I’ve heard enough about this that I’ve got to at least try it. I can’t imagine them being much better, but I’ve got 1010 insoles, so might as well! I’ll keep you posted on what I think.

those are indeed 440v2 highs, looks like he spray painted them black cause they don't have all black suede ones in the 3ish catalogs i've seen

Im sure the brilliant marketing team we have will be using the original shoe at some point in the rollout of Toms shoe. But good eye on catching those! We always try to check our surroundings before shooting photos in the office, hahaha.

I love the detective work. But I knew those were 440s. The toe box/silhouette was a dead giveaway.

This thread is a gift, though. It’s hard to find information on a lot of shoes. Like the TyShawn Remastered. I basically had to buy them and compare them to the old ones.

But with NB# there are people here to answer our questions, and we share information with each other so we can make informed decisions.

If I'm able to get off my ass and film a couple curb clips while I'm in China right now, you guys can do that fucking Blade Runner shit ya'll do where you freeze frame those Reynolds stories and dissect what kind of shoes he's got on.  You might get a sneak peek at the above mentioned shoes.  No guarantees that I can actually land something worthy of getting clipped up.
