That BOOTLEG part is all time & he is still around skating. I think he still on Vans?
Carlos Ruiz for sure.

I think this is the most obvious choice:
pat corcoran (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qaYbVCd4ZM#)
Unless you have access to Mexican independent videos, this guy:
Gabriel De La Mora - Viajeros Locos - HD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_aUB-d0C9U#ws)
He should be on BLVD!
-
Mike Daher.
-
tony tave.
he's been off element for over a year and i've only seen a circa ad yet some how tave still manages to have a full spot on circa and a show. weird.
-
Jeremy Holmes I guess... I'm surprised I even remember that name since all I saw from him was an Ezekiel ad from a six year old Transworld mag.

Almost all of the people posted in this thread have had two or more video parts.
Edit: Unless this thread is assuming a literal usage of 'one hit wonder' as in they only had one part they really recognized for. In that case, a lot of people still had more than one part. I for one am still considering independent video parts, 411 parts, after-their-prime parts and I guess web parts. What about a decent size section in a montage? My post would would be completely invalid as well (Gabriel De La Mora has had a US independent part and a few Mexican ones as I mentioned and didn't Pat Corcoran have a lot of footage in one of the EST videos?). Threadmaker, define your terms please.

Tony has been doing the real street things since his element part, hes also working towards a new video part...

nah. Dude is a straight legend. His parts in 1281, useless wooden toys, and that one new deal promo were all epic. He could slappy legit ledges, too.
I agree with pretty much everyone else in this thread except for Victor Fonosch. He didn't really make much of an impact during his short lived skate career to warrant much attention from the collective skateboard populace, so being classified as a one hit wonder is completely out of the question - I can't remember seeing a single trick of him on video, but i think i remember seeing one ad of a crooked grind.

It's got copyright 2001-2009. There hasn't been shit done to it for a long time. I wonder what happened? Skate video site is good but I don't think you can search by the skateboarder and there aren't those great reviews.
Skim The Fat is such an awsome database, too bad its never updated anymore.
we should find the creators and suggest them our help, Pals will write a ton of reviews and get that going again. its imortent to keep a website like that

Well, I don't see why anyone would want to change the meaning of the term "one hit wonder". Common sense kinda dictates that most of these guys would have more than one part.

I know he's already been named, but I feel like this thread was made for Alex Gall, got a video part out of no where and then threw his career away.

Seriously. He fucking killed it in In Bloom and zero gave him a pro board but he disappeared.

How about Vinnie Vegas? I thought that guy was awesome and then he disappeared. :(

Still, even if we used a literal definition of "one hit wonder" 95% of the people in this thread had more than one part that immediately comes to mind for me. Ahhhhh fuck it, I will just stay out of this thread. Enjoy everyone.

He got really into drinking and doing drugs and partying and what not and got kinda big, there is a clip of him chilling in Baker 3 and hes significantly larger than he used to be, beer belly hard.

I can think of at least 3 Nate Jones parts.

Not quite the same, but vincent leuzanoz(sp!!!). Won some shitty element contest and at the end they announced that he is fully on the team.then he hardflipped off a roof and now he's baker flow. also he can only do gaps so he's a one note one hit oneder.

oh shit i dunno lol. my cousin just gave me a bunch of old 411s when i started skating and i always thought this dude was ahead of his time for 2001 or whenever that part came out. just shocked he didn't have more noteriaety i suppose
-
Tony Tave is on Element again, if you find any of his new ads hes riding Element boards
Danny Sargent is a legend, i'm pretty sure he had a pro model at the end of Schmitt Stix and was Am for them for a while before videos coverage was the norm, i think he also was the first person to back 50 a handrail it was the same rail that Julien did the first front board on.
Victor fonsch is the defintion of flash in the pan, but i did see that kid in Houston one year and he's pretty fucking good.
Jordan Richter was pro for a while i know he rode for New Deal and Goodtimes but his drug issues kept him from ever having a video part or a lot of coverage
Panama Dan was around for a while too, he had a lot of 411 coverage and those 2 toy machine video parts, plus anything that had Boston footage usually had Panama Dan in it, maybe he moved bag to the jungles of Panama to be guerilla fight er with his dad.
-

He got a proper job I think- interesting thread. Anthony Mosley was one of the first wave of dudes who were conspicuously marketed specifically with an eye to getting more black kids into skating. A transworld photographer told me he went straight to rails and had only a bare grasp of the basics of rolling around, being able to roll off kerbs switch etc.
