It's childish, but I back Dan Plunkett on this. His footage is good and I really liked his "Part about nothing" part. Richie always comes off as having a superinflated sense of self and is famous for mostly doing circus tricks (not that he can't do some legit crazy shit like a 360 flip hippie jump).

Yeah he thought he should have won it. The reason he thought that was because the year he had that thrasher part come out. He got like 30 million views on thrasher, not on YouTube. The other highest video that year was like a million views. Therefore skaters gotta dig him, or people are embedding thrashers video player. He’s a fucking look in my opinion, but that’s really not a bad metric to gauge something especially if it was actually on thrashers site. Like he promoted thrasher then anyone else that year, which kind of is the prose of SOTY right? Not saying I bink he should have won, but it’s not super far fetched tbh.

Fuck bullying and ganging up on anyone cuz he's different no matter how kooky he is. That's just wrong. Richie also seems very full of himself. I get it, he doesn't want to do the same things everyone else does but most of the things he does aren't any better but mostly worse. Doing something different doesn't make it better.
