i'm just saying, i enjoy spot searching. i think it's a big part of skateboarding, for me at least, going out on a random night with a bunch of homies and just trying to find new shit. some nights you find something, others nights you come up empty handed, but when you do find something that you know nobody's touched, it's fucking great. everyone's different and there's always spots out there to be found, i'm just not down for "hey, we're MTV, we're down for skateboarding because it's so hot right now, post your spots online"

MTV is the ultimate hire-and-fire operation...and they love to rewrite history--here's some embarassing things they backed in the past:
1. every "hair metal" band that record companies were pushing 2. backstreet/nsync 3. limp bizket

Theres ALOT more factors involved in killing skateboarding other than MTV.

A year ago it was blank boards, then mail order, now its MTV. Just another brink in the wall at this point.
