@Xen I had to zoom into see what you meant, at first glance looked normal
But its sort of floating but attached.   Terrible way of describing it but its odd

Otherwise that shoe looks like it would be good,  first thought comfortable
Kinda of a forum x aloha super.

I like the look of the toe cap, and the color...but that eyelet row is a poor design choice as they already rip up real easy on a lot of shoes and this design is giving that issue a head start.

I’ll never understand putting seams right where they will hit griptape from the very first ollie. Other than that, they’d probably make nice chillers.

My 600 have a seam where the ollie/nollie area is but the panel is such that it doesn't flap whereas these probably would. Hopefully it's just a sample. Overall I like the look of the sole way more than the first editions. Basically a beefier Aloha, which is good because the Sambas I skated lasted like shit.

Looking really good imo. First Tyshawn felt good but I didn't care for the look; these do look better to me and I agree about the aloha super/forum mash-up.

I had no problem with the seams of my 600s even though they look like there's potential for trouble. They lasted for ages.

Mine have all busted in the ollie/nollie area, but unlike the 440 I had they don't leave the panel kinda flapping around. Great shoe so far, glad I picked them over the 480 or 800 I was eye'ing.
