whats good with levis 550. after wearing 93s for a minute i realized i want somethin a bit cleaner. they baggy enough?

size up 1 or 2 sizes, you get a nice baggy fit then. still depending on the production year. but for under 20€ on ebay that's not too bad

IDK I have some regular Levis in the 550 and 501 or 505 whaever it is. and they are not baggy enough compared to Lee's jeans or even LL bean or any skate company pant. If you want baggy pants Id stay away from elvis or get levis silvertabs loose or baggy fit but those can get expensive.

550 are a relaxed fit, 501 and 505 aren't so it kinda makes a big difference which number fit you have.

Also, what Lee's do you have?

550 are the Jerry Seinfeld fit and not as tapered as lots of the current baggy skate pants. For me the fit of baggy shit has to be on point otherwise I look dumb as hell. The new 93s don't fit me too well as the crotch ends up way too low, but if I size up a waist size in normal Carhartts the proportions are appropriate.

Those pants are very different fits. 550 is the loose tapered one and 501/505 are the classic straight fit ones.

I got a pair of 550s in almost two sizes up recently because I also wanted a more fitted jean and wanted to look like Casper Brooker. I like them a lot but I wouldn't call them baggy. Definitely relaxed above the knee with a nice taper at the bottom half.

I just picked up more Athletic fit tapered jeans from Old Navy for $30 ($40 full retail)

They have 1-2% Spandex, and the rest is cotton.

They aren’t too thick, and not too thin.

I was having problems finding pants that would flex with me, and these are really great for the price, with no weird fit.

(My waist line is bigger than ever, and I needed some more baggy pants.)

I have 3 pairs I got at good will so Im not exactly sure but they are perfect for me. 2 pairs of carpenter/dungaree fit I think it is and they are pretty baggy and fit well, then I have these black ones that are on the baggier side but pretty tapered at the bottom which I love but the taper makes some of my shoes look stupid.

Levis that makes sense with the fits the 550 I have are def the baggiest of the bunch. But I feel like you could get 2 levis of the same cut from a couple years apart and they will fit so differently. Levis is just such a mixed bag of fits from my experience..

All that being said the best baggy jeans are theories plaza pant.

I do Levi’s 550 two waist sizes up and they’re pretty perfect for me. Not too baggy but enough to move around.

Usually did dockers for spring/summer but already ripped two pairs so tried carhartts, I can see what all the fuss is about. Bought 2 sizes up and they’re fantastic. Very durable and not too thick for summer sessions.

Now just waiting for this cellulitis to heal up. Got a shinner from my axel and forgot to clean it cause I was battling a trick, had to go to the ER for IV antibiotics. Hopefully will be good by the weekend but that was my first bad infection from a skate cut. Wash and cover your cuts right away <3
