Man the 913 are such a sick shoe the more I wear them. Don’t lose shape at all. Don’t rip or fray, laces fine, cushion is good with stock everything. Made me forget about other shoes the past couple months.

Hoping those do drop in July. End of July? Love the way they look. Prob hold off on all sneaker purchases until those drop. Gonna take an L in the St Johns dunks anyway

Got my first NB’s...had to size up a full size, but these feel good...hoping they skate well too

Got sprained ankle, so these will have to sit for another week before i can go back out again.

Nice. One of my favorite 533 V2. The black on the heel of the shoe goes along really well to make a good colorway.

Skating 440's right now and they're my favorite shoe Ive skated in a reeeeeeally long time. Much prefer their soles to the dunks cause the dunks are so slippery. The 440 sole is so much grippier.

as a big fan of new balance's 990's, i've always wondered why none of the skate shoes have a grey/castlerock color way.

grey suede, grey mesh, white midsole, black traction

it's a unique color scheme that's very strongly a part of new balance's identity. i would love to see some skate shoes with this color way like the upcoming tiago shoes.

me too. I’ve been wearing my v4’s a lot lately. Amazing recovery shoe, great support. Classics And I agree would like to see numerical adapt that into at least a colorway or two.

[close]

Noted!!!!!  Maybe I'll have them make the product code NM440SLP or something as an homage...
[close]
dope! Another idea... what about a numeric NB1 (custom) option?!
[close]

It's been discussed actually but it's not that easy.  Given that the cost would be $200 or so for Made In USA, the custom shoes aren't made like skate shoes.  They're fantastic chillers and super well made, but our flat, thin soles don't lend too well as I'm told to that manufacturing process.  But of course I would love to find a silhouette to be able to offer that.

990 V5's are really good to skate.

on some 440s too right now!

Have to superglue the seams, but beside that they broke in very nice for me. For becoming such a soft shoe after three sessions they are still supportive enough since i usually feel it in my knees if i don't have enough support!

got me a second pair of em too

Got a pair of 213's in the mail yesterday. Never had any of the NB vulc shoes before these, they feel great right out of the box like they should. I was looking for something that looks similar to the black hightops with white stitching that Gil has been skating in on Insta, but I'm generally skeptical of any cupsole Vans shoes. I went with the 213 Franky Villani colorway instead, black with gray stitching and they come with white laces too. The canvas and suede feel really high quality and they had that amazing new shoe smell too. I went a half size down as per Roth's advice and they fit awesome on my weird wide feet. Highly recommended

213's are my favorite shoes to skate in at the moment..

After skating these black ones for the last week I started scowering the world wide web for other colorways
But no stock out there it seems.. I like the look of the white and blue ones but can't find them anywhere here..
I'll be definitely getting another pair of the black ones before they all disappear

thanks...yeah colourwar is much better in real life than it was on the website. I've always loved Grey skate shoes...goes back to canvas vision street wears i had as a kid...but these are probably up there as the nicest grey shoes i've had.

For anyone who has skated the 440 and 913. How similar is the sizing length/width wise? I skated the 440 before but would like to try the 913 at some point

Anyone know if there’s an ETA for the 1010’s yet? Or price?
[close]

Probably still August. Supposed to be July.

$100.

Confirmed on price and launch in August.  Just a consequence of the virus disruptions with some product shipping.  $100, originally were supposed to be more but we were able to price them at $100, same as the 913 Westgates.  So for now, both will sit at $100.

ya I understand the delay and appreciate the price staying at 100!

Hopefully that means 130 in Canada! (same price as 913)

I can't imagine paying more for shoes I will destroy in a month no matter how good.

Excited for the drop!

I so excited for this shoe. It's not even my style but I love NB lifestyle shoes and this getting pretty close to the same style.
Has anyone called them out for being a skate version of the 850 yet? I'm seeing Axion comments, but I think this is a little closer with the sole/color combo...

Definitely look like they took design cues from that 850!

I'm excited to skate the shoe and support the homie but not loving the design tbh... copping either way!

Two colorways for the launch and then 2 more follow ups for Holiday/Q4 2020.  As usual, it'll be a dark/black version and a lighter one for each season.  So that white/Axion one is first up along with a mostly all black.  Holiday has 2 sick ones too, not sure if those have seen the light of day on Tiago's feet yet but you guys will be hyped on those too.

Both fit similar I’m the same size in both. I’d say TTS. 440 might be a hair longer And toe shape a bit more narrow height-wise. 913 a hell of a shoe, breaks in and lasts

Anyone got anything to say about the #255s? Just ordered a pair in my normal size - my feet are a bit wide.

Great shoe! I wear a 10 in them but wear a 9.5 in just about every other brand of shoe. One of the most solid feeling vulcs. Go back a page or two in the thread to read more.

I went true to size at an 11. My toes were close to being tight in the front but the fit was good otherwise
