I hate having my feet sore after-session. Anyone got remedies?
-
Icepack, then get your girl to massage dem'
-
get some slippers with nice arch support theyre the most sensitive when you wake up
-
I know I will get shit on for saying this but running shoes like asics or new balance for when your not skating. Skate shoes are only good for skating especially now that everybody is rocking these vulc's that offer no protection on or off the board.

i've had some issues with the ligaments in my foot for a while and the best thing to do is freeze a water bottle then roll it on your arch for a few minutes at a time before bed. it's weird and a little uncomfortable but pretty much erases the pain in the morning.

This. If you wanna go even mo betta, I sometimes fill a styrafoam cup about half way with water and then put it in the freezer. Once it's frozen, i just peel the styrafoam off and massage my muscles with it. It's basically just a giant ice cube, but it works wonders cause you can really massage the cold into the muscle.
Also, Tiger Balm can help. The only issue is the skin on the bottom of your feet is thick, so it takes a lot of Tiger Balm to feel it, and you develop a tolerance to it over time. So I try not to do it too often, but when I haven't skated in a while and I go at it like a mad man, I buy Tiger Balm on the way home for feet, thighs, calves, back, whatever.
Just don't get it anywhere near your junk, it'll ruin your entire night, trust me

Get some Footprint Orthotics. I've never felt so good after a session.
-
Maybe some Arnaca gel would work. I haven't tried it on "sore" feet yet, but it works well for bruises and sprains.
-
Literally put your feet up when you get home. I find elevation works for me. Simple and does the trick.
Also, as someone mentioned below, rolling something under your feet works well. I don't use a frozen water bottle, but I have a street hockey ball that I use. A tennis ball would be softer and might feel better if you're not used to it. I actually like doing it before a session as well.

some good cushioniny shoes will always help make them not sore but when they get sore a massage or like previously stated rubbing them with somrthong
-
If you have a medical plan.....orthotics....
Cold baths....
Chinese massage places....
Use some sort of roller or lacrosse ball...
-
eating your own semen
-
epsom salt baths
-
If it's your arch area, ice soak for a little while and then wrap them gently in a self adhesive bandage. Semen won't work, trust me I've tried.
-
Put your feet into ice pools, it hurts like a bitch for 5 minutes then it's easy

Quit skateboarding

epsom salt works really but if that doesn't do the trick go for an ice bath. fill a bucket up with cold water and ice stick your feet in there for fifteen minutes on and fifteen off. do three sets of that your feet will feel brand new again
