Sized down from an 8.38 to an 8.25. Not sure if i'll regret it yet. Been having a gear crisis with boards and shoes this year, I don't even know what I like anymore.

Pass~Port 8.25, Indy 149 standard, F4 Tablets 53mm.

Love that board graphic. Pass~port boards are always really good too.

This image screams
"I put my hand on my griptape as i fully bend down to stationary mob kickflip"

I can't kickflip unless I'm moving and it's a very level flick, thank you very much.

But the essence of what you're saying is true. I am a terrible skateboarder.

don't make me go grab my other board. It's a David Loy. I am that cool.
It also has big wheels and wack new trucks. both my sets of good trucks are in nyc still.

Why only one rail?

don't know about his personal reason, but i don't really need a heelside rail (only helps me to bone bs grabs) toeside helps for all boneless stuff and for bs boardslides you can lean foreward nicely without sticking and therefore slide "more aggressively"
on fs boardslides it gives you a little stopper before washing out but doesn't slow you down.

basically you'll end up with two contact points to the ledge/rail (one rail, one deck) and that is as stable as two rails.

Great shape.. No overhang wit the 149s?

Update, couldn't do it. The WB ended up measuring at 14" long but it was still too short. I've been working on making a football and that's definitely not what I wanted. The board overhung the trucks and it felt super off.

I’ve been riding one of these chocolate decks for about a month and some change now and it still feels amazing. Definitely looking for similar stuff, otherwise just gonna but another crail deck soon.
Those shoes look like some high-tech crocs though, no offense. Get yourself something classier with a board like that.

I am now considering getting rails. This was a compelling case.

Yes, they are. Had a pair of the Adidas equivalent of that knit material and while comfy these shoes aren't for wider feet.

I haven't seen exactly 8 inch board on 8.25 trucks but I know many people who don't mind having wider trucks than the deck. That 0.25" difference probably makes your wheels flush with the board.

I actually been running 8.25 with thunder 149 for the longest time find no problem, my only concern tail shapes with 8 inch boards cause I have no experience with them

Yes it is my first time on this shape, I skated it like 30mins last night and so far it’s so awesome. Never really had football shape before but I can see myself skating another one in future for sure, 360’s and big spins off the nose felt so fucking nice😊
