I think he's resentful at his dad for being how he is. The dude seems to say the right things and thinks before he speaks. Dude should go to school. He's smart and will have a sense of security if skating doesn't work out in the long run. Seems like something is inside of him that's bothering him. These are just assumptions though and I really don't know him.

I like his skating. He just cruises and has an old school style about him. I like the road he has choosen in terms of how he skates. It's like homage for the old school dudes. I could imagine him looking up to skaters that skated before his time, or even ones that were already retired when he started. RESPECT!
