I am going to DC soon and I wanna skate Pulaski but I heard it's a big deal now, like your board gets taken and you get in big trouble, any truth to this?

Go early in the morning and if you see the cops  just run into the starbucks across the street. Have fun.

Skated there the other day. I had no issue? There was a couple of other guys skating there as well. This was about 11:30am on a Tuesday morning.

You have to keep a look out. I've known people that had their boards confiscated and received large fines. Bobby is a nice guy, I never got shit from any of the locals. Have fun on those ledges!

It's all timing. I've had perfect seshes but got kicked out on a Saturday morning at like 7:30 just cause the cop on patrol walked by. the board confiscation and tickets are real though. I had a a friend when we were kids get his board impounded and had to get his mom to help him get out . They don't fuck around. I've found being polite and playing dumb help in all skate situations.

Bumping this.

What's new with DC? I'm visiting for a few days in two weeks.
Looking for a mix of skating, little bit of sight seeing, and nightlife.

Any help is appreciated!
