i still find it really funny that enjoi printed out that ad poking fun of shecks a few months ago... he used to be under the same distribution, and im guessing dwindle as a whole decides what gets printed out in the mags, and went with it. they used to back him, until he left. now they play pretend that he's been a joke since day one. he has been, but dwindle didn't seem to think so. hypocrite fools.
i like how a lot of people here backed transworld for a little bit because they acted like they backed core shit for a second; there'd be an "east coast" photo thrown in there so a lot of you ate that shit up. now they're trying to sneak their way back into this bullshit. TRANSWORLD HAS BEEN SHIT FOR YEARS. remember when they backed globe shoes and darkstar and that kinda ugly shit back in, say, 2002 or 03? it's no different now. transworld is the worst magazine out there, right now. i can honestly say i have never bought one. i remember a lot of world mike crum ads on the back cover drove me to pick the thrasher right by it. fuck tws, fuck the interviewer, fuck the entire staff. at least the film crew is legit, they have that. they should just stick with that, and drop the bullshit mag.
ryan sheckler at this point i don't even give a fuck about; it's all of these industry dudes that are trying to get some good rep by poking fun at him. it's obvious that at this point if you talk shit on sheckler, everyone is backing you; the ones doing this are in the money just as much. lol @ back tattoo & crying. we get it.
why have none of these guys talked shit on ryan before he was hated on by everybody? that's an easy one. NEARLY EVERYBODY IN THE INDUSTRY IS A PUSSY WHOS IN IT FOR THE $ AT THE END OF THE DAY.
there's got to be another successful skateboarder out there that the industry is willing to hate on, but since nobody has stepped past bullying ryan sheckler, nobody is going to step past those boundaries.
remember all of those guys that were doing that big session at those banks last year that pretty much promoted the ending of blank/shop decks? those dudes are in it for the money, just like sheckler. but their demographic is more teen-to-adult-oriented, so of course we know who's making more. fuck all of those guys too. i don't even remember who was there. rowley, appleyard, kirchart, dill, thomas, i dont remember who. i back all of these guys but someday everyone will realize that aren't as "core" as they look.
i give props to those who left the industry to continue skateboarding and only that. that includes that bitchy photographer whose name i forget.
