Bearings, i hate bearings... Been on reds for awhile, but they break and break... so i ordered a bunch of different ones on sale.
why not just spend a bit more on some bones swiss or even the super bones reds? idk how much all those cost in total but i have had really good luck with swiss by using speed cream and cleaning em. i know a few people who've rode those diamond bearings who all had bad luck
^ spot on! i pop the shields on my bones swisses and after 1 1/2 years they roll better than ever......and i never take care of them! reds always broke on me too......
i have had a bunch of swiss, but was not so impressed. Liked six balls more, they lasted longer than swiss for me
man, totally forgot that i had the swiss six balls a couple years ago when i travelled the US- these were really good! but i seem to either get lucky with whatever bearings or no luck at all- went through a brand new set of Reds in the matter of three sessions but those shake junt abec 7s lasted me over a year! i know you cannot compare them to some swiss, but hey, the lasted! still have em in my cruiser setup!
anyway i remember the swiss six balls to feel really sturdy with a smooth roll but i am not too picky on bearings as long as they roll decently fast(i don't need the fastest bearings on earth) and they last!
