My only complaint is that this wasn’t long enough. They barely touched on Habitat outside of the Photo era.

Like crossroper mentioned, Castrucci was only 22 when he made Photosynthesis, and before that he did the AWS 411 industry section. Both are treasures.

WOW, shout out to mr. shirt for this one for real.
this solved a personal mystery that's been plaguing me for years.
i always wondered why the bars and footage in the habitat section intros weren't aligned/didn't stretch out to the sides of the screen and it's because he used the 4:3 title safe overlay as a guide instead of actually cropping in AE.

also, it's insane he started working at alien right after high school, what a dream career he's had.

Always love bobshirt, especially lately with all the alien stuff. Has got me so stoked!
Love the effort Joe has put into his brands. All the subtleties have added some much character to the brands. No companies today have a strong identity. I miss that a lot.

Great interview. I'd always heard the BA Habitat stuff, but never knew they tried to get Huf. The only story I've ever heard about Huf almost leaving Real (forgot where from) was for Crailtap at one point since so many of his friends were on it (Gino, Keenen, SJ, etc). But, I think Crail/DLX sort of had an unspoken rule of not poaching each others riders, and they always had a close relationship with Fausto.

Please tell me there's going to be a second part where he actually talks more about Habitat & Mosaic, otherwise I feel like this is a wasted opportunity since Joe seems to be quite illusive, not to say I didn't enjoy every second of this.
