Hearing from people that Chris Cole is about to be announced as the new DC rider. Jamie, any truth to this?

even though everyone of his fallen-shoes has looked like shit, i would be so damn bummed to see him go from a skateboarding company that i like to a "action-sports" company. with chaz ortiz in the team.

I think it could be true. He's been having some odd sponsors as of late (Monster) so this just adds to his cash flow. All his shoes on Fallen look like DCs anyways. Just take away the FF logo and add the DC to it. Hopefully in a good way it will add some budget to Fallen and they can finally add people like Curtin to the team.

I'd rather get a fat check than be core in the eyes of sky davis. At least DC makes skate shoes and not addictive, cancerous energy sodas.

Ive heard the rumor for a while, but I was told the announcement was coming within the next few weeks which I why I posted. Also, unless I missed something, why hasnt Berra been announced "officially"? He's said it publicly himself that he was on DC.

chris cole seems pretty loyal, but he did go back on his word saying we would never ride for an energy drink company...

These dudes are gonna go where ever the money is. That is just the way it is. This rumor about Cole has been around for a couple years...he was wearing Falllen & giving away a bunch of Fallen shit last month at the Zero demo in Maryland. Doubt it's true.

This has been in the works for over a year. I said something about it before and Jamie said it wasn't true. Chris Cole and Jamie are friends so it's not like Chris would back out on his contract so he waited it out. Perhaps it ends the end of this year meaning the end of the month.

did you know fallen started under DC but when quicksilver bought it they took the chance and went by their own? that explains a lot, at least on the first years.
now... probably the trooper looks like the dc mantecas, but they are a thousand times more skateable and durable
