I like Elijah Berle. I have a few complaints- fake steez, swongo, but when he has a new part out I’m stoked to see what stuff he does. He charges stuff, it’s pretty rad.

Those things look like they’re hanging on for dear life when he’s skating in them. I would have to size them up at least 2 sizes in order to be anywhere near what I would consider comfort.

Lol I've actually tried and there was no amount of sizing up that could make them work. They're just weirdly made pants with no ball/ass room. Who knows maybe he has multiple blowouts per session but for us peasants just gotta get 874s and taper the legs if you don't want them too loose

I like the 873s, but can‘t wear them in my usual size. One size up I can wear them regular with a belt or slightly sagging without a belt but they still look rather slim. Ball room is just about enough. I wear them for skating but also for casual activities as my go to „normal“ pants. I also have a pair that is two or three sizes too large from the days before I discovered the weight loss thread and those are pretty baggy now but look and feel great, and I love to skate them. 874s are nice too but the waist is pretty high on those.

It just looks more natural, the perfectly straight 50s are starting to look micromanaged.

The no such thing as a frontside overcrook thing is arbitrary and dumb because people will still go to lengths to describe fs nosegrinds it’s useful to use different words, it’s like saying there’s no such thing as a heel flip shifty because it’s still a heelflip

i don't get these lock-in discussions...
holding on to (long) 5050s on round rails is hard as hell in itself.
it's not going to be easier if you're going to go cross locked or heel locked or whatever.
you also have to keep in mind that each version of locking in comes with its respective dangers.
so keep on grinding round rails, lock in as you please. skating rails is dangerous.
