Who will Alexis ride for?
[close]
I can see back to wknd? Grant and alexis seem to have buried their hatchet and her good friend Trevor Thompson is still there. I can see Frog also. Random but Baker would be a good power move for both parties as much as it doesn't make sense. Real? At this point I would just want her somewhere that won't have another creep teammate as shes had pretty bad luck (Johan, Tyler Warren).

I would also like to see Brianna Delaney somewhere solid. Maybe Sci Fi since shes close with Arin.

Not that it means much, but I went to the Brain Dead/WKND/Butter goods sample sale in LA and bought some stuff from Grant. He gave me some stickers from his skate shop, Plush, and mentioned that Alexis is a co owner.

I could see:

Alexis: Real, Krooked or back on WKND
Z: Krooked, maybe quasi would work and hopps would be also sick
Bri: Sci-fi via Arin connection, Krooked or There via DLX
ET: Frog, maybe baker
Will: DGK, maybe April or Primitive
Sully: Frog, back on WKND or maybe Deathwish?
Ben Blundell: on obscurity
Stafhon: Carpet, maybe Limo via his stussy homies connection?

Ive wanted to support alexis by buying her board for the last couple years, but i just cant stand alltimers graphics. I keep waiting for the next drop being like 'hopefully this one has a decent alexis board in my size' but it never happens. And i'm someone who actually really likes a lot of the more outlandish boards that companies like quasi, wknd, etc make. The NYC skate mental/pizza comparison is pretty accurate; i dont mind stupid, but theres a fine line between fun stupid and tasteless stupid

Always kinda had a soft spot for em cause I used to check out the Green Diamond tumblr a ton in like 2010

Some of their vibe & product def seemed tacky to me, but I still bought a lot of their more subdued/lowkey gear & boards

I've skated probably 4 Alexis Sablone decks this year, hope her and Zered wind up somewhere good

It’s pretty hard to sell product based solely on cool-guy jokes and irony. How did Zered Basset end up on this monstrosity of a brand?

I've never been the biggest fan of Alltimers but it's weird that now everyone seems to think it's the wackest thing around all of a sudden

With Alltimers, people like it.......they just dont buy it
i think this applies to most indie brands, but i thought alltimers was one of the more successful ones

General direction of the company was always pretty trash with its aged fratboy vibe. It may as well have been Skate Mental from NYC. Good riddance if true.
yeah i agree, i think i called alltimers "cool guy skate mental" on here before, never really got the appeal. i wonder why the party boy clubbing theme got a pass, when other brands got criticized for it. but yeah their direction is just pretty strange, like they've had some cool guest artist series, and then the lamest most unfunny graphics possible. good team and some good videos though.

I skate alltimers 8.5 all the time and they are always bbs, even the newest drop.

edit: also i didn't see elijah in that edglrd insta just the vega dude.

Hmmm weird i saw a batch of the drop before the newest with this series
https://alltimers.com/collections/boards/products/at_su23_boards_03_ast
and they all had the clutch dimple on the top ply. I looked at the woodshop thread here and indeed it listed clutch. Would be good news if that was just for that drop. I'm pretty sure their site used to list the boards as "made at BBS" in the descriptions too, which is not the case anymore.

Hmm I thought for sure it had a made in Mexico sticker, but now I am doubting myself - it was one of the new NVA decks.

Anyway they should turn Elijah and Solomon pro before they retire the brand

When he says "done," I think he means "played." Seems like financials might be fine for now, but it's a good sign the brand isn't what it used to be when someone who was part of the small initial team ends up leaving. Loved the old videos but personally never been a fan of the graphics and did not watch their latest video.

Hockey is in Zumiez

Proof? I don’t shop at Zumiez in person but I browse their website for deals sometimes. Yet to see any Hockey bloards or soft goods.
