"Brian Anderson, He's the best".

Your sig has been one of my favorite pictures ever. From the KotR setting, to the flawlessly coordinated Unlucky Dunks, to the ohmyfuckinggoddontdropthepizza, it just further cements what everyone here is saying: fuck yeah BA.

Yeah, where was Elissa in this?

Also I didn't really get it when Smyth pulled out that Girl graphic. Was that just sort of a joke graphic that never got released?

I was confused as well.  For a split second I had a thought of BA back on Girl.  I would have no issue with that.

I mean, he said it was his "coming out" graphic, and this is him coming out, right? Is he back on girl?? 😍

i've parted with alot of skate shoes over the years with little to no hesitation, but i'd feel weird without my BA saviers. Cracked all over, heel bubbles are popped and leaking florescent yellow crystals..man. Getting to know him though his skating for the past 17 years has been a real pleasure. i'm so happy that he's happy! congrats brian!

So stoked on this, for BA and the broken barrier this is! Tomorrow I'll be wearing my Project BA's with pink accents in his honor. Fuck homofobia, BA is rad, his sexual orientation doesnt mean shit.

Legendary dude, perfect way to announce it. Looking forward to what follows this.

As an addendum, one of my favorite BA clips is from OIAM 2009, when Tom K and David Bowens talk about how cool BA is, then he shows up out of nowhere to give them pizza. 10:14

I can't believe I'm saying these words but: Corey Duffel's IG post just made me cry.

It was interesting to see the mild defensiveness about skateboarding's notoriously homophobic culture, which has definitely lagged behind the rest of the civilized world.

But I'm getting the feeling BA just did to homophobia in skating what he did to Hubba Hideout 20 years ago: stared it down, charged it & fucking destroyed it.

HELL yes.

so awesome, hero status. means a lot watching as another gay skateboarder.

this is a moment I was kind of foreseeing at the end of this article/essay I wrote last christmas, about skateboarding and homosexuality if anyone is interested in reading: http://pdfsr.com/pdf/skateboarding-and-progression.pdf

I love that Corey Duffel did the intro for BA Yeah Right! "Classics"

I also love that Duffel looks like he'd be right at home in that leather bar BA was talking about

This was amazing. So important for skateboarding.

BA was already in the history books but this has just cemented his place there.

I feel like skateboarding changed a bit today - is that too dramatic!?

I don't think it's too dramatic.

Today has been epic, at least to me.

It's awesome watching all the support on social media.

Pretty cool we can all be stoked for a brother on the board!

Great first step....

Now we just have to find out who the rest of the homosexual pro skateboarders are.

Solid work by Reda though.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY EXACTLY,

I'm just so happy to be a skateboarder. I'm happy for Brian.

Peace and Love.

Just watched Brian and Gino in the Nike video.

About to skate after wiping the tears.

It was actually really sick to see Duffel come out and say, "Hey, I used to think like an asshole and say certain words like an asshole and I was wrong." Way more refreshing than all the dorks trying to act like this isn't a big deal.

Yea that was great. If only Staba would do the same...

Proud of skateboarding.

What does virginity have to do with homophobia? Everyone knows GMOs are what turn you gay.
Did you take me off ignore? Anyway, I'm glad you've seen the light ;) Tbh not too much, I just figured he was too scared to have sex with a real life girl (anime pillows don't count) because it might make him realize that he's gay. Dude is waaaaay to uptight about the whole gay thing which, imho, makes him pretty suspect. I wasn't taking a stab at you or anything though...

My friend's dad got banned from the Eagle for "playing" too rough one afternoon.

Also, what has Klein said or done to make people think he's a homophobe? I'm outta the loop.

Got some guy kicked off Birdhouse back in the day.   But let's not reflect on him or Danny Way today.  Let's keep it about love

BA rules and is untouchable. Period.

On a side note, Brandon B. is cool and all but he came across as really dump in this.

Comments are hella interesting. Like this one:

coreyduffel@tpigz wow, and thanks. I've never really talked about why I am straight edge before publicly. My close friends and family know but maybe some day I'll get into it. I always got a lot of grief for loving punk but not wanting to party. To me being punk is not being like everybody else. Going against the grain. Lance mountain told me when I was a kid that he always thought drugs were boring and he was a punk and being a punk meant being yourself and not following trends. Thanks again and hope to see you around.

Some spotlight on Corey should be done asap. An Epicly Laterd could be great, dudes a character.

Stop calling it "The 18" goddamnit
