I mean i don't think so. It could have been anyone and everyone who reacted in a positive way to BA probably would have acted the same way to someone else. Times change, you're actually get looked at differently if you hate someone just based on their sexuality (or race) and you're labeled as a bigot. Its 2016 and yeah no one should give a shit about another persons sexuality but for the gay skaters, maybe they needed this. Its just great that a legend did this and im glad BA was the one to break the silence
