The pacing of BATB games used to be soooo good. This Chico v Mike Mo video is only 2 1/2 minutes long and packed with tricks, but nowadays the intro/rule reading itself will run over 3 minutes.

In place of the grand finale battle, we had Tough Dad Vallely & a kid nobody’s heard of, duking it out in a staged/scripted skit instead, and that’ll just have to do for finals night drama. Do I have that right?
The CDC is lifting mask restrictions, travel is opening back up, larger gatherings are once again permitted in California: I wonder what his excuse will be this time, now that he can’t use COVID to cover for his shitty planning?

i think borra already said they are filming every single round 2 battle before dropping the first one so that it will be consistent every week
