I wasn't to hyped on this game, first because I was kind of looking forward to Cole-Kirchart, but I know that every little kid at my local part will be rattling on and on about:  'Did you see Cory Kennedy beat Peter Rmondetatoootada?" And then insist on trying to do the same flatground tricks in the worst possible spaces. I.E. the flatbottom of a ramp, the exact same thing happened after that Jimmy Carlin video, kids who cant kickflip insisted on yelling "double Dolphin!" and then doing 1 1/2 varial flips.
I guess thats just how this makes me view him a little, the dude that shows up and starts trying the hardest thing he can, without any real warm up or basics to build on.

Has he had any footage that wasn't in a skatepark? (or not on a perfect Cali metal ledge, that may as well be a skatepark?)

are you talking about Cory kennedy?

Cory usually has a nice, smooth (yet generic) style, but was i the only one who felt he was really awkward looking in this game?

Cory on this level versus Chris Cole would be a killer final.

If it's as epic as the Cole / Busenitz title-fight that would be something!  I can't wait!!

I'm definitely stoked on Corey Kennedy even though he murdered one of my fav skaters. I'm just waiting for the official announcements of him getting on Girl and Nike. His bigflip over the huge pyramid at the Vans Downtown Showdown was fucking epic too.

I never liked Cory and this just makes me not like him more. Its kinda stupid how right away he fucking trys to do straight five nollie 360 flipping combos. If he were to play seriouslly, Peter would of had a lot better of a chance at winning. I think busentiz could of pulled off some of those tricks that Cory did though. :P

This is one the most regular comments ever. People play this thing to win, no? The last time I checked the idea was to do tricks your opponent can't, not give someone a better chance at winning.

was really stoked when peter landed that nollie frontside flip body varial thingy, he did it better than Cory

That was pretty crazy, it's good to see a game that's not kickflip, switch flip, nollie flip, switch heel, nollie heel...etc...

Cory vs. Cole game would be intense

wahhh im sad because cory played a good game and beat my favorite skater, now im gonna come up with stupid excuses to why i dont like him and how he cheated. wahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! =(
theres no way hes actually good at skating, even tho he just beat my favorite skater, theres no way. he sucks I HATE HIM WAHHHHHH!!

fuck you faggots. open your mind a little. just because someones doing well and beating someone you like with tricks you all know theres no way he can land doesnt mean you have to be pricks, because all of you know when you play your friends in skate you do all the tricks that you know they cant do and you can. corys gonna win and most of you are gonna cry and complain and act like he somehow cheated.

^ im pretty sure it was nollie inward heel with a body varial goin the opposite way (otherwise it would have been a nollie big heel the hard way)

that game was fucking ridiculous i was hoping more games would have been like this actually. before batb 1 came out i always wondered what kinds of crazy shit pros did in games of skate cause i would watch certain local rippers play and theyd be doing nollie 3 flip, nollie big heel, switch backside flip, and i was like damn, if these guys can do that shit in skate, i wonder how good pros are at it? that was fucking amazing. ramondetta had some really good tricks in there too the nollie front foot kicfklip was perfect. just fucking brilliant. i remember guy did nollie 3 flip off the bat and i was like holy fuck, but that nollie 360 heel was insane.

It's funny that 2 weeks ago people were hyped when Cory slaughtered Lutzka because Lutzka's a douche bag. Now when he beats Pete the same way people hate on him because Pete's a good guy.

he's from seattle, dumbass.  seattle spots are way more rugged than the east coast.  we just don't feel the need to constantly remind everyone how totally core, gnarly, and creative we are, bro.

About time someone from Seattle showed up on the radar. Besides Minnick, of course.
