It was actually cool that Chris Haslam didn't do any crazy circus tricks. I mean we all know that he has some ridiculous shit up his sleeve, but I enjoyed it a lot more.

I, like a lot of others, thought Haslam was going to take it, but oh well, it's just a flatground game of skate. I['m surprised at Davids flatground skills, didn't know he was that good!

I never knew David Gonzalez wasn't a native English speaker/American. Somehow this makes his enormously gay choice of clothing more excusable to me.

. This is where circus tricks win games, I don't know why he didn't pull any of them out. i think he was too sure he was going to win and played nice. tisk tisk haslam, tisk tisk. Definitly messed up my bracket.

I knew he wasn't going to start pulling switch 540 bigspin heelflips and all that other shit. No one can do those kinds of tricks consistently, and in a game of skate they're trying to win they aren't going to even try. Being good at skate means being consistent with all the basic tricks, not having a bunch of weird shit you'll never land.

That was a sick game, they're both incredibly consistent. Sucks because I had Haslam going far, but oh well. I think David might be a legitimate SOTY candidate soon.

i'm not really stoked on gonzales and this has not changed my opinion of him. and that's indcluding his over use of reverts on a mim ramp (i liked almost all of the other tricks though). why are people suddenly stoked on him?
