I'm going to have to jump in and say PJ in WHL. I'm not sure what it is about that part but it's just perfection personified in a skate video.

Honorable mentions: Arto and Geoff in Sorry, Trapasso in Suffer the Joy, any Rodney Mullen, Koston in menikmati and yeah right....

I also had Tommy Guerrero's Future Primitive part in mind! Seriously, I watched that thing 2 or 3 times a day, every day, my 10th grade year. And Jerry Hsu Bag of Suck is such a classic too!

It's Carroll in Questionable. It just is.

But all good modern parts likely wouldn't have been possible w/o Video Days so you can't not mention those.

Bastien in Really Sorry is up there.

The one that will stand the test of time is PJL WHL. Too good.

There's obviously no best but Bastien's really sorry part has to be up there.

This is the 2nd time this was mentioned. Is Bastien's Really Sorry part generally accepted to be better than his Sorry part? To me, the energy from the Sorry part is unmatched by anyone and also, he skated to Black Eyed Peas in Really Sorry. I agree that this is an impossible question though, just like best album/book/movie.

second this! modus and sight unseen are still the most memorable tws vids for me. cardiel in s.u. was mindblowing to me at the time and reset the parameters of what gets me stoked. and the heath part at the end shut down handrails for me. what nyjah does nowadays is probably more impressive, but to me there was nothing exciting about big handrail/hubba skating anymore.

if pat duffy gave birth to gnarly railmoshing, heath put it to the deathbed, leaving for everyone else to corpserape, drained of its blood, like a vampire. i realize i say this because of how young i was when i saw it and the duffy reference is obviously invalid, as i hadn't seen that part probably until there was a youtube rip of it and really no one knew how to rate these anyway as getting a copy was so rare.

asking mom for 40dmark/25euros for a 411 vhs that's probably a year old and probably 20min long with lots of park footage and awkward day in the lifes watching kareem campbell eating chicken pieces with penne and red sauce. i recreated that meal and it was delicious!!!

fucking nostalgia blast right here.

This part seems to get neglected these days, i guess everyone just gets stuck on the Danny Way and Pat Duffy aspects of this video and forget that Mike Carroll was first to do at least 10 or so tricks in this video part.

That part was seriously fucking amazing. If anything I feel like his style has depreciated since this part, sadly.

(Don't act like you didn't love it when it came out)
but seriously, there's a reason for the slap cliche:

Good call on Daewon in Skate More. I still watch that part regularly and am blown away by it. So much good in every way possible- style, tricks, spots, technical difficulty, creativity, street, tranny, everything was amazing aboutit.
