VIDYA GAMES / Re: What was the last video game you played?

I've realized I'm a big fucking baby and can't play Silent Hill 2 for more than 30 minutes without getting too freaked out. Still having fun with it, though.

i think having several parts on dvd full lengths (Dece, cherry, Blessed, IC2) is pretty 2000s of him
What’s Dece? The rob harris joint? I don’t think there’s a single TJ clip in there

Can you bend slightly bent axles back? If so, what is the best way without wrecking the threads in a vice? I was thinking of getting a few nuts from the hardware store and threading them on so they cover all the threads (or one long one) and then putting in a vice where the nuts and just eyeballing it back to normal.

Maybe I'm a psycho, but I always feel that it's less about overall truck width and more about deck to truck ratio. I've got 5.8's on an 8.75 and it feels similar to my 5.6's on 8.38. I rock 3 washers inside on both, 1 out, to get the axle nuts flush and it effectively makes the centerline of the wheel an 8.38/8.62 truck. Both feel about the same stability, tip, and scoop. When I first got the 8.75 I was like fuckit I don't have 5.8's yet I'll ride my normal trucks and that was insanely squirrely.

Shoes & Gear / Re: What shoe brand do you skate most often?
« Last post by TwisT on Today at 10:06:21 AM »
I've skated a ton of reeboks, especially if you role ice cream, DGK & and regular ass reebok into one line item so, if were talking historically, I'd say

Reebok
DC
Lakai
Nike/converse tied

I'm not very brand bias, but I do have this thing where I ended buying too many of one brand close together. Like right now I'm skating adidas, and have 2 pair in wear rotation, so I'll proabably be skating adidas, well into the summer.

For me the fact he looks outside his comfort zone makes the tricks that much better. Perfect amount of sketch to keep me on the edge. Best part of the year, second best song selection right after Nelly. Love that we're getting a pop ballad resurgence, they feel like such a high threshold to either be all-time or horrible and Gabbers sure as fuck delivered.

I see the logic about his spots all being the same, but I'd argue most 40 year olds aren't out in the streets spot hunting. Almost all the YouTubers skate the same spots. It's interesting seeing Ben nollie nose nollie heel out on long, respectable sized ledges and his flip tricks have massively improved. Gives me some hope that I can progress my shitty (in comparison) bag of stuff, but I FFWD through most of that stuff.

So many skaters are too cool to ever talk about shoes, gear, whatever, and he kinda made it a bit more normal. Most of my friends are the "doesn't matter bro just ride Indys" type so Slap, Ben, and Dad Board are kinda my outlet for gear curiosity.

Maybe this is better for the unpopular opinions of 2024 thread but until the Nine Club I honestly don't think anyone really cared about Jeron's skating all that much. He was always good and had clips in videos, but it's not like people were waiting for a Jeron part like they would for other skaters that came up in the same period. He always struck me as a better version of Daniel Castillo in that regard. You never went to a shop hoping you could get the new Jeron deck or something. Now that we see the human side of him we elevate his footage way more than we would have in the past.

I refuse to be defeated that easily regarding Natas 480 so now is where I ask if anybody knows a shop that would ship to EU?

Skate Warehouse, if you’re an 8:

Already saw it and I'm a size 8 but damn 53 bucks of shipping plus whatever I'll have to pay in customs in here might be too much :(

Download Shop app, add your address, and search for, “Natas 480.” It’s much easier to compare shipping prices than manually entering info  at multiple shops.

Any update on shops that are carrying the Audazo/Numeric shoe? Aside from NB and Premier, I haven’t seen any shops outside of Japan post about them.
Here's the shops I see the Audazo going to currently.  Most pretty small quantities but you should be able to snag them from these guys when they go up Friday.
