Are there any Mike V parts that actually contain impressive skating? Like one that could be considered elite and groundbreaking for its time?
Public Domain though, every man and his dog was shaving their head and mimicking his posture, tricks and limp wrist style at the time!

I'm an hour in and I'm loving it (duh)! Seriously, compare this to the 10/10 episode and Mike V looks like a fucking Pulitzer Prize winner. No doubt he's done some kooky things and gone through a tonne of weird phases BUT (and despite his ego) I bet he loves skateboarding more than most.
People will circle jerk 10/10 for a few frontside ollies he did in the 80s and defend his right to have still not learnt any actual adult life lessons in over 30 years because of it and yet they are so quick to call out Mike V. I would argue that Mike V is easily more of a "legend" in skating than Jesse will ever be.
No, he wasn't Natas or Gonz but he did contribute a lot to the birth of street skating whether you like it or not. And yes, he burned through 1078 companies during his time but it doesn't look like Street Plant is really going anyway these days; they have a solid customer base and it's basically the definition of "core" no? Who else is straight up running DIY companies out of their garage?
I'll probably just broken record on through this thread but I think the important thing I got from this is that I really need to put my money where my mouth is, suck up the international shipping, and give him some of my hard earned next time I need some new boards.
