It is a double rail. The one you see in welcome to hell is round, the other one behind it is square. You can balance on it easily, my friends and I used to drop in on it all the time, grinding the whole thing. Ollieing onto it is another story all together. I could not do that. Also, the rail seems flat but goes downhill and actually has noticeable kinks, and the end curves around funny, requiring a pop out.

Rob Dyrdek isn't so bad. He has a show on mtv, but he isn't a kook like the others. Especially with him being on After Sh*ckl*r, in comparison, he seems pretty cool.

yeah, the only thing hard about the grant park rail in Welcome to Hell is it's a little high, the rest is just fun.
That WTH credits clip was just cool looking, I wasn't perping like it was gnarly or a record.

we had some back and forths on the phone about it. He'd probably remember better than me but I can recollect it was because I was wilding out on tour. Alien specifically set up a tour with Profile(out of all teams) so they can scope me out for sponsorship. I was told this at al later time. It was Rob, Freddy, and urrrrgghhh I forgot his name. One of the owners who was hella cool to me. So after the tour I heard I was supposed to get on but Dydrek said no. My take was that it was about power. I was hella pissed since I felt I was a lot better than him and he knew it, yet shot me down and made lame excuses about it. Who didn't know I wilded out? I thought I got along with Freddy better than he did.
That said, he deserves what he's got cause he's genius and is a straight hustler. He's hella smart and someone I look up to from a business standpoint.
So yeah, there's some biasness there and I regret saying it like I did. He doesn't deserve that after all these years but pay back's a bitch.

a silver spoon in my mouth or any parental figure that directed me where I needed to go. That said, I'm doing pretty well and my house is nicer than a lot pros'. Maybe even nicer than your folks. i have to agree with that too. dyrdek was never really mind blowing, but you could tell he worked really hard to come up with some really solid stuff. im not saying he was overrated, that he wasnt good, that he was / wasnt better than henry sanchez or whoever... but i think that hes an example of how far you can go in skating if you have good talent and an even better mindset and approach to things

back when they were filming memory screen and shit Rob was down here a lot, i never met him but everyone who did was pretty down for him. And most of that shit he did in that video part thats here is pretty fuckin sick.
sucks if hes blockin dudes from getting on companys though, but he s probably pretty chill and not a douchebag and thats why hes successful.

Thoughts on the Guiness episode.
1: Goddamn gay thing to try to get records, it's like trying to be the "worlds best skateboarder" or win the world championships or something.
2: Kind of stupid records to get anyway.
3: Funny show, and it's nice to see how stoked he was to get the plaques and everything. Seemed like he was doing something he's always wanted to do.
4: Remember, Sh*ckl*r built his own TF too. The Fantasy Factory thing is kinda gay.
5: Rob and Big would be better without Big.

I feel like Rob has never progressed as a skater. I enjoy his older parts but they have gotten more boring and more repetitive as time goes on.
Rob and BIg was ok..his new show is regular.
