no one mentioned pat steiner. this kid kills it. also ron deily just went officially am for zoo york. he rips so hard. he has a photo in the new focus of a switch heel over this gap in brooklyn (the one raymond molinar backside flips in a line in one of the popwar teasers) and its such a perfect photo.

I just recently was at the spot that he kickflipped in his last Adio commercial, not the Art Museum thing Ricky ollied, the spot where he ollies over the guardrail, down into the ditch, and over the gap and barrier into the street.

I've been to spots that pros have skated, but never have I been to a spot, looked at it, and deemed it fully impossible. For people in the area, that spot is right behind the King Of Prussia mall in Philly, right in front of an office building. Getz also ollied it, which seems do-able, but a kickflip? I got there and just seriously laughed. That dude is absolutely out of his mind, and then that Thrasher cover like a month later, plus the obvious kickflip at the Art Museum? AND he has a good style? Christ!

You should go to Wallenburg and sit on stop of the steps.

and he's right, it sounds cliche but seriously the only thing that kid cares about is skating. no driver's license (well, he might have tried to get one in ATL), no education, no job, no money, no cares in the world.

that kid is as straight up as a person and as a skateboarder as it gets. you can't talk shit.

he destroys shit and could give two shits and a fuck about filming. dude is awesome, can't wait to see him again.
