the site basically covers every cartel killing
http://www.blogdelnarco.com/ (http://www.blogdelnarco.com/)
(just translate it to english)
the cartels also gave a warning to Mexican bloggers
http://www.thisis50.com/profiles/blogs/brutal-mexican-drug-cartels-send-warning-to-bloggers-by-hanging (http://www.thisis50.com/profiles/blogs/brutal-mexican-drug-cartels-send-warning-to-bloggers-by-hanging)
this is beyond terrible

Not sure I'm going to open this shit at work but I'll give it a look when I get home.
-
DUDE. WHAT THE FUCK.
I can't beleive i just watched that shit.
-
I strongly advice not to watch the video.
-
if you enjoy seeing humans actually die on camera, then watch this video, WTF. this is worse than the time i watched faces of death with my friends when iw as 13.
-
Is that the chainsaw one? Those guys are not fucking around.
-
...followed a blind link to a screengrab of the first dude getting chainsawed (cannot unsee) and caught the opening where the dudes talk and stopped it before the fucking carnage... disgusting. Straight up bound and knowing their about to meet a grizzly end for the purpose of creating a goddamn propaganda video. Fuck.
Considering that the cartels are taking over shit in not only little towns, but are doing grand-scale Taliban-level displays of terror, all I can say is that if I were a native Mexican, my ass would be sneaking over here yesterday. I can't believe the warzone out neighbors down south are living in.
-
that video scarred me. i cant get those images out of my mind.
-
Sawing through the spine is tough.

It's utterly fucked, I just can't comprehend how insanely evil these drugs cartels are. So much for the "war on drugs", a fallacy in itself at the best of times - there's a lot to be said for the legalisation of many controlled substances.
-
cant find the article but there was news of some 38 bodies found tortured to death in the back of a truck somewhere in Mexico.
It's like 2666, except the reality is slightly more insane. Our neighbors to the south are indeed in a warzone.
Someone introduced me to 'Narco corridos" a while back. It's Mexican music except the lyrics are about drug running, torturing people to death etc.
Narco Corridos Las 2 Fincas _ Los Alegres Del Barranco (Estudio) Nueva (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXi0cOI8pgE#ws)

...a lot of those musicians get murdered by rival cartels as well. No shit... this is from '07 but there's a lot more to find:

Jesus. Warzone really is the only apt way to describe Mexico right now. It doesn't help that the cartels pay better than the military, so they have all the best troops/guns/resources. The police are literally not doing shit, and it wouldn't surprise me if most of them were on the payroll. Not that I blame the cops for not doing much, the ones who do try are brutally murdered. I read an article a while back saying that a cop was murdered, and those bastards cut off his face and sewed it onto a soccer ball, and then left the soccer ball on the playground of the school the cops kids go to. Beyond fucked. I'm not even going to try to watch that video, haha.
-
i really need my short term memory loss to kick in right now. jeezuz.
-
I watch shit like this all the time. Not really sure why.
It's not that I'm stoked on people dieing/suffering, I just find this shit sort of interesting? Literately ALL of it, whether it's a beheading or someone getting hit by a car, I can't look away.
The chainsaw one was definitely one of the gnarlier things I've ever seen posted by terrorists/cartels..
-
you guys seen that documentary on this stuff, "silver or lead" i think was the title. really fucking good.
all this "mexican illegal immigrant" stuff makes me wonder at what point do these people become "refugees"? the US is all about encouraging other nations to be open and inviting to refugees from war torn nations, but we build a bigger fence and denounce mexican immigrants just trying to get away from this crazy shit that we pretty much let happen. the us will go to darfur or some other random country to provide support but the country that borders our biggest state is in complete chaos and we do nothing...weird!
-
Because the guys over here are getting loads of money. There was some article with whistle blowers saying how the fbi is completely aware of everything. They're all bros. A large number of those cartel guys are all ready living in America posing as business owners. It's all a big business. I hope I don't disappear.

This. The U.S.'s refugee policy is beyond terrible. We actually were one of the last nations to pass a refugee immigration law, and only follow it for Cubans. A HUGE percent of "illegal immigrants" should be called refugees. Whether it is Mexicans fleeing the drug wars, Salvadoreans fleeing El Salvador or Jews fleeing the Holocaust, the U.S. has a clear policy for refugees: fuck off.
There are a lot of other things we could do short of war too, like maybe make the guns that the druglords legally buy in Arizona, but are not manufactured or legally imported in Mexico illegal here too. Legalize and yes, corporatize to a degree, marijuana, making it economically impossible for the drug lords to compete in the U.S., which from everything I have heard, is their biggest market.

Wait, Canada is in complete chaos and Alaska won't help them? That is weird.

the blog itself has so much information on the daily kills the cartels commit. i read a lot of the stuff on the site, but i still haven't seen the video myself. i read people's reactions on another site and even i stayed clear of it.
(i'll probably see it later. some of you guys checked it out, so i feel like i gotta man up and watch it too. (even though i don't really want to.))
i haven't been to Mexico in about 8 years and i'm terrified of going there. even though the places i'd visit (Durango & Mazatlan) might not be danger zones, that place is too sketchy to risk it. and the thing is, if the police/locals know that you're American and have any kind of money, they try to hustle you non-stop. the cops are so corrupt. last time i went with my family we were stopped a few times and asked for money. the police will straight up pull you over and not let you go anywhere until you give them a sufficient amount. that's just dealing with everyday corrupt cops, i could imagine what it's like dealing with cartels that basically run certain parts of the country. hearing stories of mass killings, decapitations, torture, rape, forced prostitution, etc. scares the shit out of me.
and Mexico just celebrated it's Independence Day a few days ago. they were out celebrating at the capital while groups of people were protesting (because of the violence.) it just makes me wonder how long this will continue and what needs to happen in order for it to stop. knowing that the U.S. gets involved in so many other countries' business, but won't do shit in this situation because there's no oil/benefit from it deeply saddens me.
-
I have no interest in seeing the video because I've seen enough of the Middle Eastern/Afghan/Serbian propaghanda videos and they're fucking nauseating, but I did want to add that I used to live in Southern AZ and that shit is no joke. I've been hiking around in the mountains and just came across some border crossers and those dudes just look HARD. They've seen some shit. Must be fucking terrible to live there.
Where abouts in AZ HATE?

exactly...it wont stop while there's so much money being made on both sides of the border

How in the hell did those two remain so stoic? I'm more appalled at their indifference than I am at the actual event. It looked like the chainsaw cut the second guy's arm in addition to the other guy's spine, yet he just calmly glances down at it all.

Along the border its different yea, but mexico is beautiful, super safe if you don't walk around by yourself or with a white girl at night.don't be scared because of this shit, it doesn't affect 99% of the country.
-
if you stay on resorts you are safe, if you go to acapoco or cancun and try to buy coke, and act like a dick, you are dead.
-
having also watched a number of grisly videos this for some reason fucking made my stomach turn
I think it was the facial grimmace of the first dude the 2nd time he gets his neck sawed. While it was probably muscle reflex rather than him still being conscious of waht was happening it still fucked with my head

People listening to and believing Milton Friedman caused a worldwide economic meltdown with no end in sight. Don't listen to Milton Friedman. He's good at making sense when he is wrong. We may even agree on this point, but I wouldn't believe it just coming from that asshole's mouth.

i'll be the first to agree that friedman and reaganomics fucked a lot things up, and i find his views on how slavery didnt benefit western imperial powers regular. but i felt this clip from the video still holds some water.

I don't know about that. I know many people who have had to pack up and leave from their homes. They'll show up at your door and tell you to straight up leave or you'll get killed. Friends of friends have refused and then disappeared. I know a family who was eating at a restaurant, some guys went up to them, grabbed the daughter and just walked out with her. Dad had a gun in his face the entire time. Cancun had a shootout at a hotel the other week. Along with the usual finding bodies tossed out in bushes. Cancun is completely Zeta territory and apparently some little agreement with local government keeps it safe compared to other places. Then Acapulco is closing multiple schools because teachers are being targeted for extortion. Look at how many bodies are found almost daily. I'd say it's even more serious than people think.

I'm an idiot. I knew it was going to be bad and I watched it anyway. That is some disturbing shit.
What I don't understand is why they are so complacent. They know they are going to die, a horrible death no less, so why not leg it? Put them in a situation where they are forced to shoot you. That has got to be better than having some sick fuck saw your fucking head off.
-

I'm sure if they ran (with their hands bound) they would eventually fall/the cartel guys would soon catch them, and then their heads would be sawed off anyways. Given the situation, they probably thought that sitting there and accepting their fate was the most noble way to die.
-
If somebody is coming at my neck with a chainsaw fuck being noble. I would be doing anything to get those guys to shoot me. They'd have to kill me before I'd let them tie me up.
Answering their questions and helping them with their propaganda video is going out like sucker to me.
-
They looked drugged.
Just thinking about that video makes me feel very bad.
-
Whoaaaaa
that was some gnarly shit!
anyone know the story behind this one?
-
So what would happen if we just made all kinds of drugs legal ? wouldnt the cartels just have to quit ? or would they move on to kidnappings and human slave trade ?
what about a real war against cartels ? not talking about a sending money to mexican police , but sending jets with bombs , marines , special forces from all around the world , army from all over the world . How big fight would they put up ?
-
I picture Mexico as the ending montage of Casino, but lasting for decades.

i was thinking this too, but i think the people who are making it illegal are benefiting from the cartels. but yeah, it seems like this wouldnt have happened if drugs had always been legal
-
They would just find some other illegal trade to get into, probably human trafficking.

Those dudes are not going to shoot you though, they want to really fuck with everyone you're associated with. And I'm sure their feet were bound too. Plus, you have to realize, if you piss these guys off you know for sure they're just going to go kill your kids/wife/parents or anyone else you've ever cared about, even if you're already dead.

Yeah I assume it wouldnt be a good situation , even if all countries agreed to make a full scale war against it .
A big problem is that the normal guys and gals who use drugs usualy do it to have a good time and so on . They forget that in the wake of taking coke at a party some poor dude suporting his family as a cop was murderd , or some kids dont have a choise then to take jobs in the cartel
I often ignore all kinds of media , News on tv , news in papers , radio and so on . I know its not good but Im just sick how shit this world is sometimes . Sex trade , mass deforrestation , shitty treatments of animals , racism , genocide , drug wars
Rather just go to work , skate , and hang with friends and family

JK. I just saw the movie Taken on Monday and I'm convinced that human traffic'ing will decrease due to fear of Liam Neeson punching people in the face with broken beer bottles tied to his hands.

This makes me think about when I went to USA and crossed the boarder from San Diego to Tijuana mexico.
Even though I loved my staying in sd I found depressing the difference between the two cities, that are just one next to each other..
It was like going from heaven to hell or some shit, one big part of fault was me and my family wanting to "catch an idea of mexico" going to Tijuana, but goddamn, that place was one of the ghettoest places I've ever been to. Poverty everywhere, desperation, mutilated people, dealers and whatnot. People asked why the fuck would we even consider to go to Mexico, and told us shitty stories about corrupted policemen and drug cartels. Fuck that, and why in the world would usa not give a fuck about this situation, the so little distance from these cities and the so big indifference pissed me off.

Well, we should be fixing the problems in Mexico, because we are making them. We make drugs Illegal, making a huge black market for them, and the poor Mexicans see drug dealing as the only way to make a good wage. We (USA), are also the main consumers of all these drugs the Cartels run, our appetite feeds their Cartels. Our gun are what are being used in all these attacks and fighting their. The drugs come from Mexico to the USA, and our lax fire arm laws allow for military grade weaponry to go back to Mexico to just fuel the fire. Solutions? Legalize drugs.
