Mindless chitchat, I’m affable to get by but I really don’t want to talk outside of shared experience.

People who wear Crocs when they're out and about.

I get it, you're probably depressed, but at least change into some other shoe if you leave the house.

After years of remote work at this point, I cannot comprehend people that still start talking while on mute. It's the same people EVERY time and drives me up a wall.

People who believe that Peruvian aliens (currently in possession of a Mexican ufologist) are actual aliens. This is a good litmus test to determine who is an idiot and applies to a good percentage of my co-workers.

People who cut ties and don’t talk to family members.

If there’s been abuse or something extremely bad happened, fine. But when people essentially break ties with family over trivial to moderate transgressions it’s a big red flag to me.

My mom and her siblings have all been fighting since their parents died. I got pulled into an email thread about some funeral plans for my grandmother and the passive aggressive bullshit was too much and I told them to leave me out of whatever petty shot they have going on. Haven’t spoken to any of them, except my mom, in years. I had such a trivial relationship with these people before, it didn’t matter that I cut them out.

They are more evolved than those who don't know how to mute...or those hosting meetings that don't mute the non muters.....

That said, one my biggest enjoyments is the outrage caused by a reply all.....my god....

only in 2023 can u refer to family members as "people with genetic similarities". fuck this human resources ass society.
ur family is your only reference point for ur entire existence on earth and ur gonna write em off over an email chain? weak behavior. etc.

Neighbors who steal parking spots we pay ridiculous sums for rent and parking, have some self awareness for residents, had to get up in someone’s business to explain myself to get my car door keyed. Do yourself a favor neighbors don’t breed.

The people above me take up 5 of 10 available parking spaces (2 people live there) that shit is infuriating. Will take this as a sign to not get fresh with them.

People (trades mainly) that go to the bar wearing their work clothes, covered in paint, plaster or saw dust etc and smelling like shit. Go take a shower and change first. Not taking about lunch, that's fine, more mean afterwork drinks.

well covid happened and i'm almost 100% solo since (and thus rarely smoke on others joints).
I know what you mean, passing/sharing it is part of the folklore but it's actually way better that way for most common diseases (cold, stomac bug, herpes, etc...) mutually shared in the past. I'm not consciously sanitizing but covid made me fall into that habit.
