Is it just me, or are these pro-bowl games completely irrelevant? I mean, compared to what they used to be. It's a shame. Maybe because it's a week before the Super Bowl? I don't know. I stopped watching after it was 28-0 NFC.

it was even more irrelevant when it was a week after the superbowl.
Han solo blew up the Death Star in Episode 4.  Heard it from a friend.  Reliable source.

yea the worst part is they didn't even pretend it was important. That last play was so full of apathy and indifference

I used to go to the Pro Bowl all the time when I was younger, it was rad to go and just fully party all day at the stadium but the game itself has always been pretty shitty.

It's a meaningless exhibition for fans of course these guys don't give as shit about playing hard, they are just stoked to be able to have a free vacation to Hawaii in fucking February.

Also, every guy on the losing team gets 25 grand, every player on the winning team gets 45 grand, not bad for a couple of hours of half assing it out there.

It's nothing like baseball's All-Star Game where it actually matters who wins because the league that wins get home field advantage in the World Series that year.

I think I have what it takes to play defense in the NFL now.
just stand around if the ball isn't near me, and if someone that does has it accidentally runs into me, all you have to do is weakly hump their side?
i can handle that.

I guess I am being critical. I thoroughly enjoy the NBA and MLB all-star games far more, but it is actually pretty entertaining to see some of those guys clowning n shit.

And you know Big Ben is going nuts. There are so many young white girls in the North Texas area, they're going to have to put a muzzle on that dude.

No one is going to play hard in a pro-bowl.  It's because of the way that football is played.  You're suppose to play at a high level tackling people and shit.  Because of that there is a huge risk for injury.  No one wants to end their carrer over a game that really doesn't mean shit.  So they really don't play defense which is what makes it boring.  In baseball and basketball you can clown around but still play kind of hard dunking or hitting homers and shit which is still entertaining to the fans.  Not to mention that baseball and basketball all-star games are played in the middle of the season, which will never happen in football.

I'd like to see the Packers win but I think the Steelers will take it.

Here in Dallas the weather has killed Jerry's Super Bowl.  All schools, and my office, have been closed since Tuesday and may be again tomorrow.  People are at shopping malls if they even leave their house.  No one is showing up to the ESPN center.  I saw about 20 people there during the interviews which usually would have a big crowd.

No one is spending money in the city like we thought they would unless you count room service.

Good, Jerry is a piece of shit according to a "friend" of mine who coached for him at one point.

Yea, I'm sure he's a dick.

This morning we woke up to 3-6 inches of snow with still alot of 3 day old ice under it.  We are never prepared for this because it rarely happens.  Even Kurt Warner said this city is dead when you drive around because the city can't handle it.

If Jerry's facelift wasn't so tight you could probably tell he's mad.
