Well, that and how many companies actually care about OIAM contestants? People usually get sponsored by sending in tapes, knowing someone, or very rarely, by getting seen somewhere, no?
If the dude isn't sending out tapes to companies, then I don't know how well he'd get noticed.
Also, it'd be great if he diversified his spot selection. I mean, half the footage of him online seems to be just him at a skatepark, and then you have this video which is pretty much just hammers of rails, stairs, and gaps.
As someone just watching for the skating, I think he's dope; he's gnarly and has this effortlessness to his skating that I dig. However, in this day and age, companies have A LOT of skaters to pick from.
