Skate Music
« on: November 11, 2008, 07:11:58 PM »
Hey guys, Todd here. Hope this doesnt bother anyone but im wondering what do most skaters listen to? What is the best skating song. Since I joined Slap i think i might try to skate board. Im going to my brothers house in tucson this weekend so i think i might borrow his skate board. Get a few tricks down! Haha.. But anyways my brother used to skate board in high school I remember HE was jumping off the six stair one time and i was just watching him in AWE and i was saying things like "fuuug that!" He was always the crazy one though. Haha.. He had his first sexual experience in seventh grade!! But anyways i was wondering if there was any cool skater music i could listen to.. Maybe some music made by skaters. I dont know just some stuff to get me pumped up! This is gonna hurt.. Haha..

Hey thanks for all of the suggestives! I might buy the Blondie song mp3 off of Amazon.com now. Even if it doesnt sound like skater music though! Im sorry Loophole.. But Blink 182 is kind of 90s and just not my style. Haha.. What i plan on listening to is probably some Notorious B.I.G. I have always just LOVED that kind of music. Its amazing what one man has done for black music all by himself. RIP Biggie Smalls. We love you still! I have a friend who said that he cried listening to your music when he tried marijuana once. He got sick off of that, but that is what your music has done for us!! You are truley missed!

Uhm I dont know why you called me a robot. Was that your idea of a joke? Because i have news for you. YOU ARE THE JOKE. Grow up buddy. Thanks goatcheese (lol) that really helped me out alot. But i was wondering if you could like maybe just choose a couple of songs for me instead of all of those bands. That is really insightful that you all listen to different types of music though. That really says alot about skate boarding. I love it so far! By the way this is where i plan to learn how to skate board! A nice quiet street in Tucson. Haha.. I dont know what i was thinking right there. My brother just snapped a photo.. Haha..

But seriously, I dont understand why you insulted me with that joke.

when you say "skate music" bands like Bones Brigade, Municipal Waste, 97a, Hightower, Wheelbite, Faction, and Carpenter Ant come to mind.  music made by people who skate.

HAHA.. Porn audio.. Goatcheese you are really being a big help to me right now!! Thanks for accepting me like this.. But i was wondering more if you could just maybe link me to a song or two where i could buy them. Luckily i have alot of the hardcore rap you talked about.. Mobb Deep is probably my favorite rapper ever. Seriously. And i also like Lakey Tha Kidd. Its really hard to find good music now a days though.. Right now i have Jay- Z playing on repeat. I cant get enough of him since The Blueprint. If anybody wants me to request some music for you.. Well then.. Just ask! Haha.. This is so cool.

lately ive been listening to lots of "the unseen"...

but i still have a thing for groups like the shins, elliot smith, daft punk, people under the stairs...

skateboarding and music go hand in hand, when it comes to skateboarder you will pretty much skate whatever, same with the music, if its not too shitty.

OK goatcheese you are SERIOUSLY the man. Im going to listen to all of this stuff definitely for sure. Even if i dont like it i think im going to just force myself to like it.. Ill take every bit of help i can take! I remember when i used to go to the gym i was drinking protein shakes and they were really disgusting, but that i had to do it if i wanted to get in shape so i did it and nothing happened.. Well, lets just hope the music helps me more for skating than those darn shakes!! Haha..
