Didn’t watch this yet, not gonna. Want to say something about this shit though. I quit skating for 15 years after I came out. I got kicked out of my crew, wasn’t allowed to skate the park cause people didn’t want me there. I lost 15 years on the board cause of that bullshit. Was genuinely afraid to go to the park because of the response I got.
I’m not pro canceling for ideas (unless they directly contribute to violence), I think everyone should be true to what they think even if I think it’s fucking stupid. Lets us all realize who the assholes are by their own words.
That being said Richie Jackson seems to be on some trans obsessed bullshit (Tim Poole, shredder, that Taylor idiot) to try and tap into some right wing bullshit for views. Maybe just ignore it? Don’t even give shit like this the view even if you just wanna see the car wreck. Let him speak his mind but have it be welcomed with silence.
I’m sick of the outrage, people giving stuff like this a view or a comment just fuels their fire. Don’t even argue with shit people on shit like this. If this is what you think you’re a moron in my book but watch it. If you don’t agree with this shit don’t comment on it, don’t watch it. Let them have their platform but let it be a failure.
I know this is what I’m doing here so I get the hypocrisy in this comment. Just tossing out there I’m gay, I’m trans and while I appreciate ally’s speaking out against it at this point I say just ignore shit like this. Let these idiots have a failed podcast, let them have failed YouTube videos. Don’t give them the time of day and let them stew in their failure.
All they want is money and attention. Take that from them and they’ll have to reconsider the ideas they espouse to get it. Just a thought.
